This is the first and only video I’ve ever watched of this guy. Overall I’m bullish on the market especially since I’m only 28, however, some of you may find this interesting especially when it comes to reits and the housing market. He was off on his jobless claims prediction by 19,000 https://youtu.be/imUFFqSbl5U

I thought it would have been a good buy at $20. That was before the split, so I guess my new price target is $4.

No, you posted it right after I worked out, watched Dave Ramsey instead. I was going to watch it though soon.

I see @taco-houla liked it. Did you watch it Taco? It makes me nervous about reits short and medium term. Maybe even long term if some of them don’t come back! Unless they are able to preserve enough capital or are even able to buy properties during the downturn. Then it would be a positive I guess. But who knows who all will be left once the dust settles?

    I didn’t but I know of it.

but I don’t do much for reits. I am getting very boring with my stuff. All index funds like VTI etc and then taking from @Boyk1182 and have flipped about 1/4 of my boring stuff into dividend seekers. Right now evenly split SDIV SPHD and DIV. my monopoly account aims toward individual companies I think will be worthwhile, given its name, it’s monopoly and it’s my “fun” money. Reits aren’t necessarily “fun”. Maybe one day they will be but realistically I’d prefer my “fun” to evolve into options instead. Need to learn that stuff. But my primary accounts (Roth, individual taxable) are boooooring but take priority. Only if I top those out, so I allow myself any Monopoly money for the month. Otherwise the Monopoly money can grow itself and I can play with the earnings from that account itself. But it’s all self contained I have a separate account for it. (Right now my div stocks are mixed in but once I acats out of betterment I’ll open up a second taxable account for monopoly).

I forgot what this response started out as. I’ve had a cider this evening.

    oh. Right. Reits. Yeah.

also videos like that are meh. You get one thing right and the next 5 are flops. Someone explained the age old setup here. Send 1000 flyers out. 500 doing one thing, 500 the opposite. You get that 500 people that you did right by on the next one. 250 and 250. The 250 you’ve now been right twice. Sell then your product now oooor do it again and hope that the next 125 are more likely than half of the 250 after two rounds.

I’m going to play it by ear. My portfolio only dropped by 2% today so not huge deals. If it does that again tomorrow I may have to buy, might save the money if there’s no drop.

Yea, I’ll spend a little time here looking at what I might add to, and seeing where I’d like to buy at. Everything is still plenty high. If this feels like the start of a little correction I’ll keep holding out a bit. Still plenty of prices inflated

If you use the metric I like, current yield vs. 5 year average yield, Apple is more than double its fair value. I believe it too.

Me thinks we might be starting the second V if the W. Probably won’t crash and burn like March but I have a feeling we’re going down. Might level out a bit for a while. But come end of Q3 and Q4 I don’t have a good feeling about things with pandemic scares.

It could be. But 5-10% corrections are normal and healthy.

Yep. There's no money going into WTI or Gold so I think it's a correction. If Nasdaq falls below it's one month low of 10845 it would be bad news. If it holds above that then I'm willing to wait it out.
