It looks to me like someone is looking out for you, wrecks like that don't always end this well, as I'm sure you are very aware of in your line of work. May your recovery be speedy and complete.

Damn man, shit can happen so fast. Again, glad you're ok. Our EMS always stages and waits for us to clear the scene before they enter. Wishing you a fast and painless recovery brother. God bless.

Yup shit happened in a split second. The radiator hose had actually come off the radiator and sprayed coolant all over my windshield and tires. EMS standing by would make since but we work in a small town that most like to refer to the wild wild west.

Thank you all for the well wishes guys they're very appreciated

I've had a few broken bones in my lifetime, 2 clavicles and a wrist... it's not at all convenient, but the doctors do a pretty good job these days. As they say in the mtb'ing forums, healing vibes your way.

Slow so far. Currently in a rehab facility due to the weekend and holiday have only been able to be evaluated. But trying to stay positive that I'll be back on my feet soon.

    Thank you guys

Good luck on your recovery. Mind those Rx meds. I know.

I freely admit that I liked them and had a hard time letting my Rx lapse. That buzz sneaks up on you.

    Keep checking in.
    Thanks
    Kirk
