My property in Deer Park, north of Spokane. I have 10 acres. From Bellingham, head east across highway 20 across the top of the state, then take 395 south through Kettle Falls, Colville, Chewelah, and into Deer Park

For the purpose of getting this set so people can claim vacation time in advance if they need it, I'm going to end voting very soon on when to hold this. I will be acquiring some beer to share and I'll see about some food. Next steps will be determining how long people will be here for and planning meals.

As we approach the date, I'll pm people my address as I don't plan to share that with the site. For short term purpose, I am approximately the intersection of Owen Rd and Cedar Rd in Deer Park 99006.

I am going by popular demand, and deleting the poll now.
    Sept 2-4 (Labor Day) - 3 votes
    Sept 9-10 - 4 votes
    Sept 23-24 - 1 vote
Sept 30-Oct1 - No love at all

Sept 9, 10 is the winner. Fair warning now, at this point in time, despite having the property and wood for it, there will be no campfires. All fires out here will be gas powered. There is a fire going on right now only a few miles away from me, and that alone has me concerned for today. The extended forecast through August is hot and dry. It would take about 3 minutes out here for a fire to get out of control right now.

Anybody who is bringing firearms, no tannerite or anything comparable. Bring plastic bottles or aluminum cans of sometime carbonated to shoot if you to watch something explode.

Anybody bringing dogs, please make sure your dog is safe to run around off leash and won't go chasing other dogs or wildlife. One of my boys tries to talk big and think he's the alpha, then I have to pull him out of it before he gets into a fight and gets torn up. My other boys are submissive and won't try to pick a fight. My little girl likes to keep to me and my wife, and likely won't have anything to do with you, your dogs, or your children.

Anybody bringing human grade children, my male dogs love children and think they taste delicious.

Now then, who is coming and when?

Kennewick to my house is about 2.5 hours. Fastest route is north on 395 to Ritzville, then east on 90 to Spokane. 180 miles put me from home to Umatilla a few miles off the freeway, so from Kennewick would be closer to 160.
