Ionic boards dont fit, says vendor (???)

Hey so I bought Ionic running boards for my 22 SR5 access cab, from runningboard warehouse.

The bolts were the right size for the truck but the brackets did not line up at all, and furthermore the slots in the brackets weren't even wide enough for the bolts they sent.

I called for them to send the right brackets but they insist those are the right brackets for my truck, and furthermore Ionic brackets from the factory shipped with tacoma kits now do not fit Tacomas. Runningboardwarehouse says this. They are sending me return shipping labels and say I need to buy another brand. Im bummed because these boards are exactly what I want and the price was great.

Other people on this board have Ionic running boards, so where did you get them? Is there another aluminum running board for a similar low price? And doesn't this sound weird?

 

I actually have my old ones up for sale right now. I bought them from Realtruck.com and they fit perfectly.

 

Access cab?

 

Nope I have a double cab, short bed.

 

I think I'll get the 5" APS boards from realtruck.com.
