Again, where are you getting this idea from? The physical dimensions of all iPhone 4 and 4S versions of the phones are identical. The only difference is a slight adjustment in the position of the mute and volume buttons and an extra "break" in the antenna band above the mute button.

Don't believe me? Check the specs on Apple's site for yourself.
    http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html
    http://www.apple.com/iphone/iphone-4/specs.html

If you have a case that has enough room around the mute/volume buttons (or one designed for the Verizon iPhone 4) you can still use it for the iPhone 4S.

Let us know how you like it! I haven't decided what I am going to do yet.

I'm still recovering from how much I spent on Wet Okole's yesterday...

For those of you that have pre-ordered...I would start looking for your phones sooner than Friday.

    Check this out!

A coworker here received her iPhone 4 two days before the expected launch date when she pre-ordered it last year.

yeah, you should be able to track it on the website, for sprint its UPS(it might differ with the different companies). i just checked UPS since i got a tracking number on saturday and it says a label has been created but hasn't arrived at the UPS location, it also says its shipped through 2nd day air so im guessing it will be shipped tomorrow and get here friday? hopefully?

I have a lifeproof case and I liked it.
I removed it since I dock my phone on a clock at night and I felt it would break the extender I use to make it fit.
I was at the beach and didn't worry about it getting wet or sandy. You can't tell from the pictures the cover is on either.

I would assume so, but I've ordered hundreds of things that arrived before the tracking information is sent/updated.

I tried to pre-order mine at AT&T wireless store last Friday as soon as they opened. They told me it was gonna be 14-21 days to get one, buuut if I came in this Friday as soon as they opened. That I could get one of the 200 phones that they'll be selling in the store? Does that make sense???

Of course. They have to be sure they have enough phones on hand to sell to their walk-in customers, as this is part of AT&T's stock. If they start selling those as part of the online orders, the stampede of people coming in to get them in person will be SOL.

The online orders, I imagine, come straight from Apple.

I could be way off, though.
