a couple of my friends have their tracking numbers updated(not ups) and they are scheduled to arrive tomorrow! that got me super excited haha

 

Where you slide to unlock, i thought the notification center was reachable from there, as well as the camera.

 

You have to elect which Notifications you want to display first.

To take a picture from the lock screen, double-tab the Home Button. You should then see the camera icon to the right of the slide.

It's the full version... But my phone now is restoring it's self. Fingers crossed..

 

It has to be an issue on Apple's end, just being flooded with people updating and restoring.

Cool, the camera works, but no Notification Center. Have to unlock to get to that.

 

Think about the volume of these they are dealing with right now. Happens every time, not all shipping info gets updated. They are more concerned with making sure everyone gets their shipment on time rather than the tracking info be up to date.

Plus as I mentioned before these are shipped all at once into the US then broken up for regional shipments, then broken up again. Keeping track of each little one has to be a nightmare. And possibly your specific phone isn't actually slated for you until it leaves the regional processing center.

You should try checking your tracking by the reference number of your order instead of the actual tracking number (if you have one). This may provide more details as they know your order is say one of 100,000 in a shipping center.

Also, I would bet money almost everyone that ordered through Apple and it said you will get it on the 14th will get it tomorrow. I got my iPhone 4 the day before release. I know two guys whose 4S has been in Kentucky since yesterday, doesn't take that long to get here from Kentucky.

WOW! so i call UPS and they said looking at the date the label was made and all the other things, my phone was due to be delivered today! they told me to call the shipper so is that sprint or apple?

 

You only see new notifications that happened since you locked on the lock screen.

 

Did you order it through Sprint or Apple? I would go to whoever you ordered it through.

ok so there is new feature called LED blink. Any thoughts on that one since there is no external LED on the Iphone4

EDIT: Never mind, i thought that was like the BB were it blinks every 5 seconds when there was an outstanding message.

edit: so its going to be picked up today by UPS and should be here by friday or saturday, the lady is monitoring my account so she'll give me a call tomorrow and friday if there are any updated. so no early arrival for me
