Would this be a good starter gun for someone who has never owned a gun before? I have been thinking about getting a concealed weapons permit.

XDM is nice. I was looking at getting one but I think I'm going to go with a FNX instead.

Which gun are you talking about? Have you shot handguns before and what is the budget/purpose behind having one?

The beretta is a big gun. Honestly it is harder to conceal due to the size. The XD is a lot easier to conceal.

    XDM!

In reality, you should buy the gun that fits your hand the best. If it feels right, it's the best gun. I would get a 9mm. Cheap to shoot.

9mm seems to merely be pennies cheaper than a 40 lol.

@Renaud33 I can bring my p320 and my Beretta M9 sometime and you can try them out

Yeah the whole 9 vs .40 thing is way over done. And I agree just go handle a lot of guns and see how they feel and the concealment options and go from there.

Awesome. Got my wife and mother in law hooked on them as well! Next vehicles they want are going to be 4runners. The market sucks though. What gen is she looking at?

Well it was 3rd but now she likes the rav4 which I guess is okay but they seem to be underpowered if you get a 1st gen but I think they look neat plus atleast she'll have 4x4 . Once the frame on my taco is replaced it shall not see salt ever again

The newer ravs are pretty nice. Almost got the girl friend to go look at one but decided to keep the Mini.

Isn't that how all business works ? And I'm just curious if it would be worth it to go back to oem or make my aftermarket stuff work

Since you are in the market for said items I would assume you have priced what the parts go for new, I have not. I would also assume you could use that knowledge to make an offer on a grand total amount that includes shipping. If I told you I wanted only a $1 per part but $1000 to ship them it probably isn't in your best interest nor is free shipping at $1000 per part. I'm not really a motivated seller as it would force me to dig the parts out of wherever they are, take them somewhere that can package and ship them and hope they aren't closed during my available free time. Please refer to post #3412. :p

Yes and no. I mean depends on what the terms of said business are. If he wants an offer made you can either shoot him a low ball offer and hope he bites (especially if he doesn't know what he has) or you can try and save the haggle and shoot him a fair price on it. If he doesn't not bite on the fair price I would then walk away because he obviously doesn't want to sell or he thinks that his stuff is a pile of gold. Not saying to this particular deal but just all deals in general.
