Side note: my Mom's boyfriend has a '67(I think) Plymouth GTX convertible, Hemi. They made 16 of them. It's a frame off, numbers matching restoration. Aaaaannndd, he drives it. Not a ton, but a few times a year he'll drive it to a show. Or, take it for a cruise.

They really need a DoD delete to be reliable.. The motors anyway. Can't do much about the trans.

It’s amazing how everyone thought that was the best idea ever and it’s a total pos

just like these hybrids that shut off when you come to a stop. Sure you burn less fuel but constantly restarting isn’t too great for longevity...

    What's DoD?

Yeah, I have noticed those and I agree. It seems like extra wear and tear.

Displacement on demand aka lets turn off half the cylinders and boost our epa numbers

yeah. Grandpa always said he’d rather spend the little extra money in fuel than parts to fix it when it breaks due to all the extra starting cycles

hey it’s gonna be worth a lot of money some day lol

If I spend the money on something new, I’m gonna enjoy it. Pretty sure he had a stroke when I told him how many miles were on my new truck lol

Yeah, those are dumb. I'd rather save fuel with gearing.

Haha! You're one of the few people I've met that drives more than me. I thought 30K a year was a lot!

And this^.. The first few scratches on the 4runner were difficult. But, I couldn't justify owning it if I wasn't going to use it.

I've put 30K on the 4runner since last January, and 17K on my work truck. So, I think I'm winning right now..

    :bananadance:

Edit, err, wait.. How many miles has @Shellshock put on the Tundra as well??

If anyone’s interested I’m selling my gray Husky Liners from my 2004 Toyota Tacoma D-Cab. Prefer local pick up. Condition is very good. I finally bought a tan set of liners to match the interior.
