At least my Honda is doing good. It gets crap mileage for some reason. I thought it would get low 30s, but I get low to mid 20s.

So guys where would you buy leaf packs at ? I tried wheelers but they just stopped replying so they wont be getting my money. Maybe All pro expo's? I think weight capacity is the deciding factor I need more of it lol

I have the regular All-Pro packs and they are pretty soft. The upside is they flex nice, the downside is they sag when I put some weight in the back of my truck. The expos won't flex as nice unless you are loaded. Originally it was recommend to me to go with Alcans but I was impatient and opted for All-pros. Going with All-Pros meant that the spring hangers and the shackle hangers had to be removed and new ones welded on to accommodate the longer 98-04 leafpack. Alcan can custom make anything you would ever want in a leafpack. It looks like Deaver is another option if you want to move the hangers. If you end up going with 98-04 leafpacks you should look into the johnny joint shackle mounts that All-Pro has.

Sams riverside you can get a set of half ton Chevy springs for less than 100 bucks, couple of custom spring hangers from ruffstuff, and you will have a nice soft ride that can handle plenty of payload and flex nice.

Trail Gear would be another place. You can get them from Frontier 4x4 and get 10% off. I have All Pro leaf springs on my 85' and have been happy with them.

Buy the wheelers so you don't need to pull the bed and everything to put on new hangers.

Wouldn't new hangers be beneficial in general though ? And its like 4 bolts for the bed isn't it ?

6 main bolts, 4 bolts for the fuel neck retainer plate and wiring for the taillights. I would also remove the gas tank for easier access to the spring hanger (plan on your tank strap bolts breaking off flush). The hangers are a PITA to remove and prep. :D While the bed is off it would give you a chance to clean up frame rust with a pneumatic scaler and probably make your shock relocation more accessible.

    You got it!

It would be a lot easier installing 95-97 specific leafpacks. However given the fact you seem to be pulling out all of the stops with Kings front and rear it makes sense to continue the theme and go all out if that is what you wish. Making the most of the Kings would probably be running a longer leafpack and performing all of the mods that come with the territory. If you want my opinion I would throttle back and keep it simple and less expensive...coughcoughBilsteinscough.

Lol kinda late though I mean the front will be simple no matter what brand so that's not an issue. The rear just has so many different option s that all fit my needs and wants so that's where it gets hard. But in all honesty I'm thinking expos with all the neccasary hardware and just deal with the work

The work isn't all that bad if you can take your time i.e. the truck can sit for awhile without being needed. Once you are balls deep into the project you will see other stuff that needs to be done and the whole thing ends up taking longer than anticipated.

Might as well weld on some frame reinforcement plates if you're already doing all that welding with the bed off.

They strengthen the frame where it turns to a C-channel. Ryan is right though, it would be a good time to install them. BTW when I read his suggestion I pictured you reading it and saying "great, more shit to buy". haha

You were correct lol. But if I got all the parts how long and how many beers do you think it'll take to do on a mod day? I'd really only need help with the rear setup which is of course the hardest lol

I wanted someone else to mention mod weekend lol xD I'm fairly confident in my welding but I definitely would rather have a pro there to help when it comes to my suspension lol xD
