If anyone who knows about lifts or coils could help me out, I'd really appreciate it!
So today i finally got my lift in the mail (3" inch Toytec spacer, with 3/4 top plate spacer) I was wondering if it's hard to install? also, would you guys just go ahead and instal the top plate spacer (even though i don't have a lean, what so ever in the front) just for the extra 3/4 of a lift? Thank you in advance to anyone who helps me out..

If your no leaning currently I would use the 3/4 just because spacers aren't the greatest when stacked I top of each other , also did you order 2 3/4 's? I thought you were only suppose to use 1 on the drivers side to counter the weight ?

What do you currently have for a lift and why did you decide to go with a spacer?

Well, im putting together my lift, i had a shitty 2 inch spacer, and blocks in the rear, now i bought new leafs in the back, and billies, and im just using the spacer in the front for now, i want to buy something nicer this summer, just kind of on a budget for right now.

Lol I'm more than happy to help ! Its not a hard job in terms of the idea, everything is unbolt and bolt back in. However rust makes these simple thing hard it took me like 4 hours to do all of my drivers side (First time ever lifting a truck) after you learn its so much simpler my passenger side took about 2 hours.

Also have you considered things like Lower ball joints, Inner/outer tie rods, axle shafts ? Small things like that are something to take into account.

Anyways if you ever need help just message me and I'll see if I can come help out !

Here, buy this and practice on it. It looks pretty similar to yours.

Basically I am going to echo what Penten said. How are your shocks? I personally wouldn't ever bother with a spacer lift especially if the shocks are wore out. I would put the spacer money towards a more "complete" lift that includes shocks. Just because I feel that way doesn't mean I won't help answer your questions.

Hey guys. Going to be in the area this weekend! If any of you guys have factory front mud flaps for a second gen and want to get rid of them let me know! I have a full set with factory rears and weather tech fronts but the weather techs have funky lines and don't work with my tires.

Also have a full Volant intake with scoop and a URD MAF Cali that I'll sell and bring if anyone wants.

Hopefully I'll see some of you guys out and about this weekend?

Thanks man, i'll probably end up going to a shop, or someone local to have it done. Also, my shocks are practically brand new, i only plan on running the spacers for a few months, until i can save up for a whole new front suspension! Anyways-Thanks again!!

Kurt and I wheeled with those guys once. I don't know what they do for fab work I guess since no one had very built rigs.

From what I gathered from the info I had mainly do things like you were doing (sliders and skids) it didn't seem like they ventured into bumpers though. But I don't have a lot of info

I don't recall that. I believe the owners name is Tony Stice. I met him a few years ago when he was interested in some 1st gen pickup/4Runner parts. I have talked to him a few times since then. I don't know about his fabrication work so I can't comment one way or another. I know Luke at Frontier Offroad supply in Chariton does good work. Of course Ryan does good work too.

Those guys were at the off road truck meet at Twin Peaks and when we went to the farm in winterset. Their logo is like a radioactive waste symbol or something. Or they advertise for the guy.

Yeah it is a radioactive symbol. I'll have to try and get some pics of their work. I'll also be looking at the other places mentioned.

I would guess they had him build them some stuff.

Think someone has the offroad itch after today. :D

Came close to putting the 4Runner on the side today. :(
