It was a state trooper that hit you? Was he driving a trooper vehicle?

You are looking at more than just a door and a fender.

Show us more pics. Or is it at the towing company?

Located a door and fender, have a guy i use to work for at a auto-body shop put it on.. Gonna pay for it all myself, and hopefully theyll except fault and reimburse me. Everything else is fine. Dented the hood a little bit and the bumper.. Were surprised it didn't break the windshield or tweak the cab at all. should be fixed by late next week. Hopefully lol.

No, he was cracking jokes too. Total D-Bag. Kept saying "glad you boys are okay, i couldn't give a fuck about property, it can be replaced"
I find it fucking hard how he could hit my door, i flashed my lights, my phone light, had my dome light on, he had to been on his phone or computer. Sucks, but glad me and my buddy are okay.

I wouldn't touch the thing at all and for god sakes don't down play the damage and don't tell them about how your buddy can fix it.

I find it hard to believe your rocker isn't damaged or any interior door panels. I am sure your fender apron is damaged. The more you dig into it the more damage you will find. Don't ask me how I know that...

The more I look at the picture more things keeping coming to mind. Did he hit your front tire too? It looks like he about had to of.

The pictures were for law enforcement or insurance?

When you were 20 feet away from your truck after it got hit did you say "MY NECK!"? HAHA

Interior and just the whole door in general is ruined. Not one piece salvageable BESIDES my speakers (ford & garland downtown) did a great job making them sturdy I guess lol.
The pictures were from the other cop that came out, to take pictures for the insurance.
    Front tire is okay.
And I was right by the tailgate, about 3 feet from his car hitting me.

They give you a payout for the entire truck and either they take it or you can purchase it back and enjoy your new salvage title
