    I'm kinda thinking the same thing about monsta, My bed is chipping pretty bad. However I sanded it all the way down which they say you shouldn't and if you do you have to primer first..

    You didn't do 2 coats? It's not worth a shit in a bed with 1 coat. It gets its durability by bonding the 2 coats together.

    Ah just weld some plates on you'll be alright :) . Already having problems getting the bed off my truck the 2 bolts that hold the bed on in the center are either stripped or maybe a welded nut broke off but all they do is spin ! Trying to cut them out with a dremel and no luck ...

    So now that the bed is off and the frame is accessible have you realized how easy it would be to repair the rust? haha

    FYI - The doors don't double as grab handles! I have an extra door.
