i've driven on this stretch of road for long long time decades! it's never been this bad
it has a different type of pavement on I-29 that I-80 does not have
made out of rubber chunks maybe? i dunno
    kinda looks like corkboard

Yea all this flooding over the years has been terrible. I've lost jobs & priceless family heirlooms. My current job is right along the river & been lucky so far the last 2 years! Anyone remember this song?

From Burlington Iowa, not too far away from the QC. Just bought my Tacoma on Good Friday up in Cedar Falls! Loving every minute of it.

i hear that I-29 is now open from Missouri border to Sioux City
    I will doublecheck
only one service station open though south to Missouri, so make sure you are completely filled up, I don't wanna get a HELP alert on here to bring you fuel lol

    ....
i checked google maps and I-29 looks to be still closed near me from Crescent to I-680/Missouri Valley

that I-29 outside of Council Bluffs is still rough as a mofo
I don't think its been re-paved in multiple decades  just patched over with many bumps
it has that special brownish type of pavement

Looks legit and somewhat local. I need some visors recovered. I might ask for a quote and see what they come back with.

Howdy fellas, name is Roger. Just moved to Sioux City from San Antonio, TX to be an Army Recruiter here. How's the Off roading/Tacoma scene around here?

Also here is a picture of me taking my rig going down an obstacle called Jody's Revenge at Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, TX

Welcome to IA. I'm not sure about the west side of the state but the Nebraska or Black Hills guys might know. There's not a lot of good public accessable Off Road areas across IA. There are some good areas on private land but you typically have to know somebody.

Thanks for the welcome, plan on taking a trip to the Black Hills to camp once I find a place to live and get settled in Sioux City. Want to visit Yellowstone as well as I am just slightly closer than I was before.
