i have clearcoat

seems lots of 1st gens in AZ TX were stricken with bad clearcoat

 

My paint is pin striped to hell

actually not really. It pretty much all was just tree goo not scratches

 

My truck has a scratch already. More like a scuff. Where some upstanding individual on base let their door hit my door.

This happened the last time I bought a new vehicle as well. Second day I owned it it for a door ding. A Mustang GT in ‘06.

At least it was like two weeks with this one.

 

I’ve got a gouge from the driver door all the way to the tail light on my tundra. That was the first or second trip lol

I pinstriped my roof pretty good. Excuse to get a prinsu. But was accosted by some tree limbs pretty good in Sullivan, when @Tacomania couldn't quite get up that trail.
It was pretty tight, and I did some brush removal on the way down. Had a pretty good size wad of limbs wedged betwwen my front bumper and headlight.....

for many years a long time ago my dad made me camp & sleep in a flood plain on the IA side of the MO river
if that dam 120 miles away in SD would've let loose in the middle of the night i just don't know what would've happened, probably like 5' of water coming up the banks
i always enjoyed heading up there at 55mph (current speed limit then) in the winter, starting a fire and cooking some sausage links with hot cocoa
today marks the 29th anniversary of his passing away quietly in the night, 1-25-91
funeral was on 1-29-91, which is my mom's brother in KS birthday, who turns 82 this year
definitely need to stop by and visit him, have not seen him since his wife's funeral in Nov'18
