I only saw 2 trains which was a bummer but lots of cattle then rain sleet snow across the CO border cloudy the whole day
NE has smooth highways west of Lincoln and very minimal traffic
CO has mostly bad roads and bad traffic at 6pm rush

Goñna take the tired old taco up the continental ,divide today, so far the engine is loving the altitude and breathing like new
Hope it don't stall and roll back downhill

You must have the only vehicle on the planet that runs better at altitude than sea level

I didn’t have to until this summer. Went too high too fast. Descended 2000 feet and immediately felt better (after also barfing a couple times)

We stayed in Denver the first night then went up old falls road and across. Spent the majority of the day at 9k+.

we set up camp around 10,500 and it was all down hill from there. Really couldn’t eat, headache and resting heart rate was like 90. Packed up and went down or I knew it was gonna be a bad time and would have to do it anyway.

apparently the rule is don’t raise your camp more than 2000 feet per day. So 0 to 5k to 10k is a bad idea. The following days we camped at 10k+ and spent a day over 12k and didn’t have any issues

Usually I’ve spend the first night at like 7500 in Estes park. I think being down at 5000 in Denver the first night is what got me.

see build...but not a whole lot
yup! I wanted the adjustable set but hearing better things on things than the dakars. I might have to put a set in the tundra, not a huge fan of how quickly it sags

Ive had mine on for about 6 months now. I wanted a set of adjustable springs so I can change it up if i need to. I’m running option 2 on the tundra and its pretty much perfect for my setup. Way beefier than the factory springs
