I've been given vehicles to test drive over night before. In this case I had a vehicle of equal value that stayed at the dealer whilst I had the vehicle I was driving, but generally they really don't care. The weirder you are when it comes to asking them strange shit, the less likely they are going to be comfortable with you taking shit out.

But I have taken everything from brand new corvettes and camaro's to Mercedes out for extended test drives.

I drove my 16 for like 40 miles and an hours time. They don’t care.

No I haven't, other than pulling a Uhaul trailer to move kids. I usually go to Wisconsin for adventuring.

Yeah. Usually they use it as a sales tactic.

Take it home and get the wife’s approval! Make sure it fits in the garage!

    they don’t care

    you sure?

if i put some good miles, say 50 to 100 on it i would feel obligated to compensate them for the wear and tear and their future potential issues incured with selling a 'new' vehicle that has miles on it
i know when I test drove the '19 MT Corolla hatchback the salesguy was getting antsy that i WANTED to spin around the freeway and neighborhood again and 'test' stuff out

when i test drove my 1st gen a really long time ago i just started :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool: when compared to the current truck i had been driving for a couple years
so i lucked out getting the papers signed with 20 miles on it, maybe the only one to test drive it IDK

I had a brand new (at the time) Mitsubishi Evo VIII MR and a Subaru STI overnight. Ended up buying a new Mustang GT for $10k cheaper and was not $10k less car. Although, sometimes I wish I would have bought that MR. It was nearly $40k before TTL, though, and I got the brand new Mustang GT OTD for $32k loaded aside from Navigation. This was in 2006.

I literally just did this in December. I took a SR5, a Limited, my TRD OR Premium and a Pro out for a drive from my dealer on two different days. Was given the keys and told to not run it out of gas and bring it back in one piece. All I had to do was prove I had a DL and insurance.

It’s not unusual for a “new” car to have 100-1000 miles on it. New just means it hasn’t been titled. It’s the cost of doing business.

They should just sell it with no drivetrain. Build your own Supra.

I’d still rather have the RC F

I am HOPING they announce a manual, but I doubt it. I do know, however, that they had anticipated a lot of performance models so they had done a bunch of stuff with body and duct work in anticipation of it. So, I'm hoping it's a new performance model.

RCF is good shit. Gets a bad wrap often. Having driven both, I'd rather have the GSF.

The GS F is awesome too. I also really liked my IS

It’s a good thing i live on a gravel road so I’m not inclined to buy a car..

I'm tempted to buy a decent used ISF for my next fun car. I'm also tempted to import a RHD Toyota Chaser. Would kill two birds with one stone. I've never had a 2J and I've never had a RHD car.

Ive been watching the IS F slowly drop in price..

I need to just be content until the cyber truck finally comes out.
