The premo I used didn't say anything about ethanol... but I use the 10% blend normally and get 18ish.

My understanding is all grades are ethanol now unless you get the straight 87.

That is noy the case in the western part of the state. Hy-vee does not put ethanol in.their 91 and there are a couple truck stops that dont as well.

Does that have atrac or a locker? Not much off roading either way, but power to both rear wheels would help compared to an open diff.

Not sure what atrac or locker is but I don't think it has that. Pretty new to all of this.

Yeah the sport doesn't have that stuff.

You would probably be surprised how far you would get, I would be more concerned about how well you'll get around in a blizzard.

Ames ones do. They sell 87 with ethanol for cheap or straight 87 for more.

Quick question as I don't know the in's and out's of the 2nd gen Tacoma, but my buddy has a stock truck and is looking at some 265/75/16 cooper discovery stt? Will he need to do any modifications like body mount chops? or just maybe removing fender liner and mud flaps?:confused: Thanks in advance

He could probably run that without any lift and have no trouble. Krappy is getting that size, he is doing a 5100 up front set at 1.75 of lift. At the most, the mudflaps may need to be trimmed or removed, and very minor plastic cutting.

You aren't supposed to have to do any trimming, but it seems to be hit and miss with no lift. I'm going to lift the front slightly to avoid any issues. I need new tires and shocks so this is the perfect time to do it.
