Not cheap like that... Cheap like $250 or less for a used decent quality compressor. Even most craftsman compressors seem to be mediocre.

Can anyone in here recommend a contractor for gutters and downspouts in the Des Moines area?

Sorry if I am breaking some rule, but I put this in the buy/sell area and no activity. Thought I would put in this area since it is close to home. I have a ARE short bed fiberglass topper for sale. Has factory all weather carpet top and sides. Factory installed roof rack rails. Front tip down slider up front and sliders on the side. Bought new 6 months ago. Reason for selling is I sold Tacoma. Fits 2005-present. My Tacoma was a 2011. Topper color is bright white. Asking $800 Location is Bondurant, just north of Des Moines. No way to deliver buyer would have to pick up. If anyone interested call or text (319)310-2065. If anyone needs pics or additional info don't hesitate. Need to get this out of my garage!

If any of you guys are interested, few of us from here and FJC forums are trying to get something together for March. The bigger the turnout the better!

Right now, the date is looking like Sunday, March 23rd. The location is open for suggestions at the moment. Fox and Hound in Omaha as well as Dave and Busters in Omaha has been brought up. Shooting for somewhere in the mid-day timeframe. If there was somewhere to do some wheeling or a trail to ride, then I am all for planning it in. I just got back to the Midwest and haven't had a chance to scout anything out yet. There will probably me more information flowing down the pipe in the Nebraska meet thread a couple posts down.

Any Iowa guys have suggestions on places to wheel?

Iowa doesn't have any public grounds to wheel. I'm not sure when any events are either. I need to find a list somewhere.

Seems like NE is the same way. About the closest I've found is Tuttle and KS Rocks. Kansas Rocks is having quite a few events this year, I plan on making quite a few myself. They are having an offroad 101 course in April which I think will be a good one to attend and then a 3 day wheeling event over memorial weekend which is a camping and wheeling event. Won't be missing that one for certain.

Does anyone know if there are rental fees that a group could pay to use any of the private ground here in Iowa? Renaud33 might know the answer to this or know someone who does know...just an idea. It really won't matter to me anyway because I will be down in St. John. :D

I once talked to the people at timber ridge ranch about renting the land for a weekend. It was like $50 per truck if we could assemble a group of like 15-20. Free camping and stuff I believe. Maybe we can try something like that. I would be down. I'm going to try and make it to a lot of the meets around here this upcoming year.

I would most definitely be down for that. Shouldn't be too hard coordinating between a few different forums.

Yes, that is a possibility on the land south of Knoxville known as MIOBI(make it or break it 4WD club) land. I know the land owner and have organized events there in the past. The biggest issue is that he would have to get insurance since I am sure that most are not a part of MW4WDA.(Midwest 4 Wheel Drive association) If everyone was a member then he would not have to have the insurance, thus reducing the cost greatly. Last I heard the insurance cost was close to $500 for a weekend event. On top of that he would charge a fee per truck, per day. Probably $15-$25 a day. The Tall Corn Cruiser's(Iowa TLCA chapter) host their event there in August. They have other events as well, such as Mememorial Day and Labor Day weekend events that open to the public. If join the MIOBI club you can gain access to the land as well. Any other questions I will do my best to answer.
