And I just found out my cousin's wedding is this Saturday in Minnesota. Grrrr! I might have to wheel Thursday and most of Friday, then leave. Not ideal.

 

You might have to go out early. We plan to be there all week. Going to call my brother and try and get a better idea of his plans so i can start planning. Anyone else going?

 

I was thinking of going out early. I need to move out of my apartment before I leave, so the sooner I do that, the more money I save. I might just nomad it for a couple weeks.

 

So are there any trails here in Iowa ?

Kinda in bumfuckminne. I'm always in the cities or northern MN when I'm there.

 

With all the rain the past few days and the forecast with a good for possibility of more rain we are postponing the wheeling get together for Saturday. The trails will be sloppy/slippery and that means a high chance of body damage by sliding into a tree. Also means lots of big mud holes, which I am not a fan of. Looking at a wheeling outing on Sunday May 11.

 

I'm good with the 11th.

My mom will be somewhere around the country for work so I have no commitments.

Whos all going to this? Sounds quite fun, and i know a person who had a Lyme Decease.. I think i'll attend if that okay

The backstory:
The woman I rent my shop from is chronically ill with Lyme Decease and a few other illnesses. Her health is not great and my rent payment helps her out since she is pretty much bedridden.

Anyway, her non profit Lyme Decease awareness group is putting on a rally at the Des Moines capital building May 10th from 1-3pm to raise awareness in the area. She asked me to attend, so of course I feel obligated and will be there.

I don't want to be the only one there though. She said I can do my own thing, so I'm thinking we should turn it into a truck meet. Just get together and BS for a few hours in the hot May sun. That's all we need to do. She said we could do a poker run type thing around town if we want. The only request is you wear green or put something green on your truck.
