Got caught in a flash flood while we were on our way home, luckily we were only a block from our house.

Somehow the land cruiser and FJ made the list of accepted vehicles, but 4runner and tacoma didn't.

Eh it said expedition and safari vehicles. I say most of our Tacomas can count as those.

    Ryan, are you going?

All, last year Ryan and I attended as spectators. No 4Runner or Tacoma owners should be discouraged if they want to attend. I recall an FJ and a first gen 4Runner on the course last year. There were multiple lines to take on sections that ranged from easy (stock 4x4) to hard (heavily modified). If you don't want to drive the event is still a hoot to watch everyone. The entry fee of $5 was well worth it, I recommend going!

Talked to jeep guy in the Hyvee parking lot.. He said that there are a lot of Tacomas and Toyota Pickups that go down... Theres a also a Facebook page for the event, i think me and my friend (he drives a Toyota pickup) we'll probably be down there!

I plan on going. I need to get my power steering and rear brakes fixed first. Hopefully this weekend I can delve into that.

I will probably go assuming nothing else is going on that weekend. Need to get my skid plates and sliders put on. Hopefully in the next week or so.

Anyone used parts geek? I had never tried them until this week. So far not impressed with their communication. Over 48 hours after my order and still no shipping/tracking information. Hoping they come thru and prove my skeptism wrong.

Saturday probably. When I went on Sunday there weren't many booths still up to look at stuff I didn't need.

Interesting how i got a tracking number this afternoon that didn't work, but when I got home the shipment had arrived. Not sure that I will ever order from them again.

As Ryan said most likely would try to go on that Saturday. Checked out some videos from last year on Youtube and it looked like the obstacle course could be a little fun.

There's an off road event in river falls WI I'm thinking of going to. Last weekend of this month. A few Minnesota taco guys will be there.
