    we sold all of our 3g ipads at bestbuy yesterday in about an hour.


    im gonna be honest i have the non 3g ipad. it is one of the coolest things i have ever bought.

    im on it ALL THE TIME. if/when apple makes a version that has usb ports, flash, use actual programs (i.e. photoshop, etc). if the make an actual computer iPad. i will buy it.

    I didn't either, until I played with one. I found it intriguing enough to buy one, and quite frankly, LOVE using this thing over the laptop. I will be the first to admit that it does not cover 100% of a laptop's functions, and I do wish that it did. Buying this is as much a trial of Apples components with the idea that I may phase out Microshit's stuff altogether as my computers get replaced.

    As for the instant gratification. I don't see it as much as that, as it is simply nice to be able to simply turn it on and go. Add to this my increasing aggravation over the various versions of the Windows virus, the latest one being that my laptop arbitrarily decided that it no longer had internet access the other day, only makes it nicer that it simply works when you turn it on. I am getting sick and tired of Microshit's repeated security flaws, random corruptions, and unexplained failures. I've even had lockup issues with Winblows 7 on the machine I'm sitting on as I type this.

    True, but if you're not near wifi it's better than nothing....and this way you can use Verizon and maybe have a chance of a signal. :)
