    $500 OBO.

I'm selling a custom made iPad mini float mount dash kit that I made for my truck but decided not to use. iPad mini is held in place with a magnet. Has a lightning cable molded in to allow charging. How you integrate it into your audio system is up to you.

No it does not include the iPad. These are not cheap to make. There are a lot of hours invested in making it. If you were to buy one from Soundmanca.com for instance, they sell them for about $1200.

Wow that's a lot of dough!! I would love to integrate an iPad into my truck. Can't justify that though. Not saying your priced to high OP just stating I'm too poor haha

I'd like to own this... But like others have stated, it's a tad out if my price range. I think it'd cost me another $500 to get an iPad mini and integrate it into my truck. Would look amazing though... GLWS OP, I'll be keeping my eye on this thread...

$500 and no backside view? ... and I've always been told that magnets are bad for electronics. So?

I'm pretty sure since it's a solid state drive, magnets shouldn't effect it.. But someone correct me if I'm completely wrong.

I feel like tossing it in the garbage is a little harsh...

Hey man don't trash it. You worked hard on it. I've made these pieces before and it's no easy task whatsoever. Don't let everyone bash your product!! If it doesn't sell her then try eBay or Craigslist! Good luck with selling man!

If the price is too high to your liking, then simply don't comment.

Guys .. you are all breaking forum rules, if you don't like the price DON'T RESPOND

For anyone that would be interested in this product you would know the cheapest any shop is offering this for is $700-800 without a tablet
Yeah, that's right, $800 for the custom dash work without any electronics (the tablet is not the only piece you need).

$500 for a tablet in your dash is a pipe dream unless you make it yourself.
I was lucky enough to purchase the dash piece already made for $150, all-in was close to $1000 with a refurb iPad

Why is the bondo work so uneven? If this was a professional
Grade piece I would be all over it. However I cannot get behind sub par bondo work. Good luck with the sale at that price.

If you bought the dash piece for $150 why are you selling at $500?
Did you add the $30 lightning cable?

He is not the seller. He is just stating that these pieces are expensive and he was lucky to find a good deal on one himself, as well as the forum rules about not crapping on someone else's FS thread.

Seems like it would be a better than stock radio. There must be some audio playing apps to tweak the sound and such?
