I sure hope so because I just bought a ahold system and now I'm just wanting the iPad mini to complete it!

Haha guys to be honest my garage is still in boxes from me moving I haven't even had the energy to unpack the garage yet.....sorry for the delay and I've kinda lost all the drive I had to do this......if the damn dash piece wasn't curved I would have been done by now but that's what is holding me back - overcoming the curve!! It almost requires me to build a whole new dash kit out of fiberglass and bondo and I sure as hell can't afford to do that and sell them for $200 I guess that's why all the audio shops charge like $750 to build this kit. I'm not saying it can't be done but I would literally spend a ton of time on it not so much money in materials just a lot of time to build each one. Idk what I'm going to do yet my dash is still ripped apart and I haven't even put it back together yet!!

im likin the look of this dash piece you have

and OP just a thought for anyone wanting to keep in the vehicle semi permanently you could just install as you have it now

i understand most people would want to remove it whenever they got out of the truck but it could be an option for a somewhat low cost ipad mini install

for what its worth. love the idea so far

This is awesome! I wish the Auto manufacturers would just make it for a 7" tablet. Then people can purchase what ever one they want Ipad or Android. The Nav that new cars come with suck and why would you want to spend an extra $2000 grand for it?
I would buy this in a heart beat. But for Android. I already own the Galaxy Tab2.
    Keep us posted.

Bkm ran into some problems with the dash, I think specifically with how it's curved. So I think he moved onto something easier, and recently he sold his truck... So it's dead for right now unfortunately...
