I installed the latest update to my iphone 11. Erased the info from the truck and repaired the two. Seems to be working now. Was on the phone call for 19 minutes and no problems.

    :fingerscrossed:

Mine still doesn’t work. They erased all data, they also opened a case up through toyota. Updated my phone to 13.2.3 and it still does not work. They keep giving it back knowing it does not work. Really frustrating! In CA it is the law to have a handsfree device, do not see how this cannot be something they understand.

Interested and wonder if this issue only arrises with JBL with navigation or it goes for all radios with Bluetooth?

    None yet, several planned
After latest IOS update, and clearing the data from head unit, mine too seems to be back to normal.

Talked to Toyota, they are working with Apple for a fix. Issue with iOS 13. Turn off Bluetooth or unsync contacts worked for me.

13.2.3 still doesn’t work. Erased personal data aswell.... Bluetooth works if only connected as a music player not a phone.

I previously (as posted) had all kinds of issues with dropped calls every single call since apple 13.xx upgrades. Now with 13.2.2 and linked to head unit as a phone but sync contacts and show notifications must be turned off (disabled, which is done on the phones bt tab by clicking the i with a circle around it next to Tacoma). After turning those options off I have not had a single dropped call at all, and it’s been over a week)

While this is a less than ideal solution it is better than dropping calls every single call.

I have a brand new iPhone 11. Not the pro or the max. I am having calls fail to go through. I went to the phone store and they did a network reset and I am still having call fail. They told me to go to the apple store:annoyed: everything else works fine. Anyone else having calls fail?

Doesn't sound related to the truck issue. Do they fail with and without being in the truck? Could be a bad antenna or some other QA related issue.

I assume these two are consistently failing (always fails for these two numbers). Sounds like a carrier routing issue. I would call your carrier (like Verizon, ATT, etc.). Are you blocking caller ID?

I have iPhone X and now on 13.1.3. Everything seems to be fine and no change from earlier software versions over past 2 years. I think I’ll hold off on new updates. I am planning on upgrading my phone to a pro however so this thread has me second guessing. There seems to be variability on this thread between users. Some work and some don’t. I wonder since mine has worked on version 13+ with my 2017 Taco if a new phone on 13+ will fail or succeed.

I think it's mostly related to OS 13 and it's interaction with the head unit. Doesn't matter if it's a 11 Pro or a 8, if it's running OS13 there are reported problems. The latest version is 13.1.2. I've got it to work on my 2019 and 11 Pro by following the reset tips mentioned in previous posts. Delete the phone on Entune, forget BT connection on the phone, do a hard restart of the phone and reboot Entune. Then go through the pairing procedures. This has worked for me as well as others who have posted here, so it's worth a try.

Got my phone fixed today. I was trying to run an iPhone 11 on an iPhone 5 sim card. As soon as at&t updated my sim card to a iPhone 11 sim card everything started working properly.

Just got an 11 pro max. Cleared out the previous phone on my entune Bluetooth. This was a new phone so went through the pairing process. Took 2 calls today and had no issues. Both calls lasted about 15 min. Hopefully good to go. Will update this post if my experience changes. But, so far so good. Note that I previously had on iPhone X on 13.2.3 I think. No issues with that phone either.

    Hey Guys,
For the older iPhone (like my iPhone 8S Plus), I downloaded the latest iTunes (13.3.3), deleted my old phone and contacts off of the truck radio and reloaded the phone. I drove around today and so far, so good. No re-booting. I hope this helps with people who still have the older iPhones.
