I just noticed Apple dropped 13.1.2 today, and this was listed as one of the fixes:

Addresses an issue where Bluetooth may disconnect on certain vehicles

I had a restart loop this morning myself, I'll have to download it and try it.

As I posted earlier, my wife has a 2016 Volvo. She’s had an iPhone 8 and now an X, both having run all versions of iOS that have been released in the last 3 years, and not once has her infotainment system had a hiccup.

It’s an Entune issue, not an iPhone issue.

Ok, but strange how nobody that uses Android has reported any problems. I'm not an Entune fan either, but you're wife's 2016 Volvo seems to be the exception, not the rule.

Hmmm. Though I've only had my Tacoma 3 months, I use BT pandora almost daily and have had not a single problem. Android phone....

I’m not saying that iPhones don’t have something different about them that don’t make them more susceptible to issues than an Android. But to blame it on the phone...when the same phone works flawlessly on another system...

Okay, let's see how this update does starting now.
    • I downloaded the update about 12:30. It took a few minutes to download and update.
    • After it finished I drove to my other office.
    • Got in the truck and Spotify loaded up right away. That is a plus so far. It was about 50% for last couple of weeks.
    • Got a robocall from Citibank, call came through fine and did not drop. Still an annoying robocall though. It was only one call but the radio did not shut off and reload like it was occasionally doing. And Spotify restarted as it should. Crossing my fingers now.
    • Got to my office and the phone wants to go through all the new updates. So far, they seem to be an improvement in all the new shortcuts.
Let's see how the rest of the day goes.

If I ever have issues it’s usually fixed in the next update via Apple not entune.

had the same issue with a Xs Max and updated to 13.1.1 over the weekend. So far it seems like the BT is performing well. I am guessing that one of the last ios12 updates had a BT issue that moved over into 13.0, but has now been recognized and fixed in newer updates. Glad to be having the BT work as it is supposed to but man was that annoying for a while...

I’m having the same issues with an iPhone 11, my 7 never had an issue. Downloaded the newest iOS update so hopefully this solves that

Interesting... I’ve had my 16 since July 2016, and never had an issue with my iPhone 7 or 8. Since getting my 11, I’ve had issue with the Bluetooth connection dropping and then reconnecting at random, and the inability to end a call. Both issues occur at random. I haven’t had an issue with the new update (13.1.1) but if the issues present themselves again, I’ll update my post.

same!! Just over the past couple of weeks. I don’t know if engine updates itself, but I’ve been updating iOS every chance I’ve got. What a pain. I’m xs max

edit: can’t recall if the last time was before or after 13.1.2, I’ll pay attention

I updated to 13.1.2 yesterday and for the past 20 hours I have had flawless performance.

    Still watching it for now.

Have the guy with the 2016 Volvo test to make sure, because, it's not your software apparently.
