For me the bluetooth drops. I've had a few call drops as well, but like you said I attribute those to the cell phone service.

Your HU is rebooting, which sounds like an HU issue to me. Are you under warranty, still?

When one of my calls dropped the call was still going on the phone, I couldn’t get the call back to the hu.

When your Bluetooth dropped, but the call was still on the phone, was this after updating to 13.1.2 or were you on earlier software at that time?

Has anyone had any issues streaming music via bluetooth on the new iphone? Picked up an 11 pro max and last night when I opened spotify and started my playlist, the volume was nonexistent... Turned the volume all the way up on my phone, and then to 50 on the head unit just to be able to hear the lyrics. Made sure the equalizers we're off on the spotify app as well but to no avail. Haven't had one issue with calls though oddly enough. Just downloaded and installed the new iOS update, so I'll see if that does anything after work. Never had this type of issue with my 7+

Since getting my iPhone 11 (with current iOS 13 update) I cant keep a call longer than 1 min via BT. It transfers to handset mode. Any answers for this yet? Going to try with my wife’s phone this AM.

Well, that's a good question, but Entune is the name of the head unit that comes in 3rd Gen Tacomas, I'm sure if you share a pic, the smart people here will know instantly, I have a 17, and it is my first, so I'm uneducated earlier than that.

Edit: The reason I ask, is that there are some with the belief that the HU is the problem, and my thinking is if yours is not an Entune HU, but still have BT connection issues with your iPhone, then that may rule out some things.

Entune is the software ON the HU.

Just like Windows on a Dell PC.

Ok...yeah I don’t have entune in this 2014. Just wish I had a fix for this BT issue. I’m convinced it’s compatibility issue with the iOS 13 software and the software in my HU. My BT is fine for playing music, it’s just the phone call connectivity I am having problems with. Here is a pic of my HU.

Are you on 13.1.2 of IOS or on an older version? Some are saying upgrading IOS fixed it. I am on 13.1.2 and haven't seen the issue, but I haven't been in the truck much since getting the phone (great weather for driving the convertible). I don't use it to play music in the truck (I use XM), but I have been streaming music in my convertible with no issues.

13.1.2 did the trick. Not an issue since the update.

All Gen 3s up to and including the 2020 have some version of Entune.

Update your phones and it will resolve the issue. There is an update out that specifically addresses the bluetooth issue, among others. 13.1.2

Yes, I have 13.1.2. I’m still having problems in my gen 2. Seems like gen 3’s are experiencing the fix?

Did the update to 13.1.2 and still experiencing phone disconnect. I wonder if the update addressed the gen 3’s only? Not sure if there is a difference in the technology.
