A very sad state of affairs. Toyota has built the brand on quality products and strong customer loyalty. Shit like this is what drags a manufacturer down the tubes and they will pay a kings ransom trying to regain customer confidence once it's lost.

Did the iphone update that came out this morning and it appears my HU is no longer rebooting on calls. 2 good calls so far. Discovered this an hour into my hour and 20 minute drive to the dealership.

Yep same here. 11 pro max and occasionally it will disconnect mid call from the truck but stay on the phone so I have to switch over to speaker.

I got an 11 Pro Max last week running iOS 13.1.2. The first day was sketchy with the Tacoma with music only playing through th USB port and not on Bluetooth and calls only coming through on the phone speaker. The next morning I removed the iPhone from the truck's head unit and the same from the phone then re-paired everything and it's been working perfectly ever since, including a trip from L.A. to Monterey and back over the weekend. So lots of miles, lots of music and multiple calls on I-5.

He’s one of the few here that actually “get it”.

To say this is ONLY Apple’s fault is to be in denial that Toyota’s “technology” is laughably dated.

    None yet, several planned
I tried this hoping it would work, but sadly it did not. I will do the IOS 13.2 upgrade when I get home and hope that clears it up.

That’s just a phone app update. Nothing to do with the software on the head unit.

I upgraded from 13.1.2 to 13.2 last night and it's all working fine as expected. I think that we also freak out over a simple dropped call, which can happen at anytime, but so far it seems pretty solid.

That’s encouraging. I’m holding off till we see some more success with 13.2 and Entune head units.

My new iPhone 11 purchased yesterday is working fine. My wife’s 8 works fine in my truck also. No issues. Even QI charger is working great with the 11, as the 8.

Now I'm going to have to clear the crap from the cubby and try the wireless charger. Forgot about that. But realistically I'm never going to use it because I use Maps on my phone all the time and it's better when it's almost in my line of sight. Used the built-in Nav on the head unit once and it was so horrible that I never bothered again.
