    Unless it charges the phone, why wouldn't you just get an Ultraguage or Scanguage?

    It says it does charge the phone, and is 60 bucks cheaper than the scanguage II.

    Something like this might make my unused 1st gen iphone useful again.

    I use a free program on my android with a cheap wireless OBDII dongle. I think the app is called torque
