From a former iPhone 3gs owner, I still recommend Palm webOS devices over the iPhone. Hope you're satisfied with the phone man (seriously).

You could try dropping $100 on a Pixi on ebay...see how you like it, and if you don't, resell it for what you paid. Sprint carries the Pixi; thus, no changing carriers for the time being. OR, go all in on the iPhone and be *cough*disappointed by the lack of features*cough*inability to escape apple and its app store*cough*at&t's "customer service"*cough*[in]ability to run multiple apps at the same time*cough* I'll stop now...

better hardware....they hardware kicks ass. the only thing the iphone has from a hardware perspective that tops the evo is the camera and display resolution. beyond that, the evo kicks the shit out of the iphone. you can argue software for either side.

hopefully, you are happy with your phone.

I had the iphone and now have the droid. Att sucks and i've done plenty of side by side comparions with the iphone 3gs and there is no comparison. I have not seen or played with the iphone 4. It was not an option for me after the last software upgrade on the iphone created so many bugs.

    That's what 4.0.1 was for. :)

Any brand new OS is going to have a few bugs. That's why there is new software every couple of weeks.

Anyways, I have no experience with Droid but I do have an iPhone 4 and I love it a lot. I've been using an iPhone for a little over a year and I don't plan to use anything else. :)

Yes, "someone did just really suggested the Palm Pixi". Now I suggest proofreading pre-post.

Palm was something I was trying for last year, as I was stuck with Sprint and I had a Treo 700w, the bastard child of Palm and Microsoft that was an utter failure. That thing died on its own, surprisingly not from my hands.

I wanted a Palm Pre, it was the only thing Sprint had at the time that resembled non-dinosaur technology, but I was shut down by IT who said I had to have WinMo.

but really, I'm not sure how Palm is managing to stay alive. I can't figure out what the advantage would be?

Blackberry requires a proprietary email server.

DUUUUDE! its just a phone! they are both good phones and do the same exact thing. just pick one that has the best coverage in your area and call it day. i have a droid incredible and it does everything that my freinds iphone4 does, except i4 has a front camera, which he never uses, but i get waaaay better reception and coverage. your putting way to much thought into this. and who cares about the 3 different app stores on droid? if your using the phone for business, then a stupid app store should be the last thing on your mind! just download apps from the origanal app store and you wont have any probs. damn....

If that was the case then why are you advocating your android?

and I did make a decision, getting the iPhone. Works better with my hands - Droid thinks I'm a zombie.

My project manager went droid and already had to download a different app because the calendar wouldn't sync. So in a way, yes I still need app support.

At least I agree with you on something. What happened to my old Nokia?

^^^ i wasnt only "advocating" to droid. if you can recall, i said BOTH phones are good, just pick which has better coverage in your area.... as fare as calandar syncing goes, im a train engineer for the railroad so i rely heavily on my calandar and it hasnt faild me once.

I think you made a good choice. I switched from an evo to iphone 4, and love the new iPhone. I use my phone for business and use exchange as well, it works flawlessly. Download document 2 from the app store and it will open any Microsoft office doc perfectly. I think it is free or .99
