700, that buys my rear bumper sliders and a front bumper from MC for my 89 runner...just can not do it for some more space and another camera...can not do it Apple! APPLE you suck at being a great marketing company, and having great products that the masses want!!!!!!!!!

 

If I preorder black and when I get into the store and see that I like white better can I switch?

Wow I can even have it shipped directly to my door on the 24th and not have to wait in line!

 

yea the 299 price is when you qualify for the price break or you are signing a new contract with AT&T. 699 is the full price for the new phone.

See the thing is I do qualify for the price break. I think something went wrong during the check out process. After it got done processing my account from at&t it showed a $299 price. IDK i'll find out when I pick it up. If they tell me $700 I won't be getting it.

Well I went by at&t, and they said I'm eligible for the $299 price. Gonna hit up the apple store tonight and see what went wrong.

AT&T's launch day allocation of iPhone 4s is now sold out, and anyone who got in the door after 1:30PM Pacific Time will get their unit some time between June 25 and July 5.

 

How can this be? I mean how can you preorder something and have it be unavailable until a later date. I am sure they will be making enough phones for all the orders to go out.

What fuckers, and they say they will have phones available in stores on the 24th. Why not ship it to those of us who bought them a week and a half before the launch?

Yea, I went by and they said as long as your at&t account says your eligible you'll get it for the $299 price.

 

So whats the price out the door?

And is this for the full upgrade Or partial?

 

For me its $299 for the 32gb with a 2 year contract renewal I do have to pay an $18 activation fee though.

After looking online there are many people who got the same price shown for them. It was caused by a glitch on at&ts side.

 

This phone will be in my hands soon.

There is a bunch of nay sayers on here but it a personal choice as to what phone you like.

as for phone service and dropped calls, I've never had one whether it be the beach, mountains or any rural area. Plus while every other phone was busy trying to be like the iphone, they were working on this baby

 

i got my pre order in before 1:30pm pst so i should have mine sitting on my doorstep when i get home from work on the 24th.
I still believe that the only people buy droid phones is because verizon doesn't carry the iphone.

 

I looked at my minutes last month 39.
Then I looked at my data usage 8G
Minutes who needs stinkin minutes.
I placed my order around 5am on the 15th, hopefully on te 24th or 25th I will have it. If not no biggie especially if the platform isn't jailbroken

 

Tried to check pricing on the att site but it wouldnt let me. Checked price at apple website and it will be 399 for the 16gb and 499 for the 32gb....lot of dough, might just get the 16

 

Apple is claiming 600,000 pre-orders on the first day alone. (10 times the pre-orders of the 3GS last year).

- Now AT&T will not allow any pre-orders on their site.

- Apple still allows pre-orders and has a ship date of July 14!

I was thinking I had a week to pre-order, then I saw all the buzz about this phone, so I tried to quickly pre-order and all the servers were slow on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was able to get a order in on Wednesday when the Apple site still said "July 2 ship date". I guess I am lucky because shortly after I ordered they change the ship date to July 14 and I am sure it will just keep moving back for future pre-orders.
