iPhone 4

The app has pictures. What I did was google the cases listed in the app to get larger views of them. I haven't decided which one I'm going with yet though. Most say "3-5 weeks for delivery" anyway.

 

For a guy w/o an iPhone or the app, would you list the names here?

 

Most people would put a case anyways on the phone including myself. So therefore, will I not buy the best product since sliced bread just because it has issues that I will never experience? No.
For those that will not use it with a case or don't want to, then you don't have to buy it, or can return it. I think apple is doing the best they can. Those people that are upset are upset becasue they really like the phone and won't return it, but just wish he would fix the issue.
If I were them, return the iphone, get another temporary phone and lower your plan, then when apple comes out with a better phoen that you can use without case and no problems, get it. Sadly, that phone will probably not have as good of reception, regardless of touching the anntenna.
Basically, if you aren't happy, then its your fault you aren't happy. Your forcing yourself to be unhappy. Gezze louis.....

I'm thinking about an Otterbox Defender... But damn, $50...

 

I'm getting the Commuter from Otterbox but it's not out yet for some reason...

 

I have the full Zagg Shield on mine, so I am not sure if I want to get a full case, or just the border/bumper thing.

 

Hopefully this will make some of you guys feel better and get the Android guys off of their pedestal.

Viet I saw that aluminum case. A local friend is getting one first, thankfully. I thin kit might make the phone bigger than I'd like.

My brother found this website with pictures of the free iPhone 4 cases and brief reviews. I wish I could hold each in my hand before making a decision... but free is free.

I'd love to have one of those Vapor 4 cases... but $100? Damn.

I still might go with the Otterbox Commuter. My wife has a Defender on hers, and it makes it really big/bulky. I hope that the commuter doens't add too much size.

 

I just watched a couple videos about the Zagg Shields. Pretty cool. I did notice a little bit of an orange peel look to them when the phone is off and you hold it right in the light. Does the shield change the look of the screen? One of the selling points is that really high-res screen and I wouldn't want to buy something to protect it if it also made it look bad.

i should be going to pick up my iphone 4 in about a week when i come home. Hopefully some places have it in stock.

 

I went to an ATT store last night and they had nothing. You can order them, but they're not in stock yet. The people at the store had "no idea" when they'd be available at the store. They said the local Apple store had a 900-person order list. The ATT stores won't get them in stock before they're available at the Apple store, for sure (they said).

 

damn. I will only be in town for like 3 days and than heading to the desert so its either get one now or in december.

 

I bet they'll be more readily available in December... I seriously doubt you'll find one in a store when you come home this time, though.

 

I've got the zagg protectors on my phone, and the orange peel look isn't hardly noticeable. It doesn't take any clarity away from the screen which is nice. One thing I don't like is the back protector moves up on the phone. I've had to take it off and reinstall it twice. I'm gonna find out if I can get my money back because I'm not happy with them. The front protector is perfect hasn't moved one bit. I'll be getting the power support protectors which was great on my 3gs.

 

I'm confused... sounds like you like the front protector, but not the back? Or do you not like them at all?

 

I like them to a point. Front is fine, but with the back moving is why i don't like it. Two of my other friends have the same protectors with the same problem.

I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. Get the power support protectors.
