iPhone 4

My iPhone 3G S will do everything the iPhone 4 can do. Except the front facing camera for internet chatting or video conference calls. It'll be a little more square and have a front facing camera NOT alot of features that I personally need. The 3G S will get a free upgrade to the iPhone OS 4 before new iPhone is released. Mine is only 8 months old soo I'm happy with what I have. Besides when my contract is up there will most likely be a newer iPhone lol

I'm getting rid of my Blackberry Bold and am adopting a new iPhone 4G who needs a home. My BB has been nothing but problems. I have switched it about 5 times and every single one freezes and turns off by itself and acts slow as hell.

 

Get paid when preordering starts so I wont have any problems getting it. =]

 

I'll wait til the rush for these phones die down and add a line to my plan & buy it from best buy so I can purchase the best buy coverage ( insurance kinda ). Apple doesn't offer that. Looking forward to it though.

 

i felt a huge difference between a 3gs and 3g in speed and i liked the oleophobic screen a lot more. definitely getting one of these. idk whether to preorder or whether to go buy one at the store

 

I plan on getting one as well... glad I am keeping my unlimited plan for when Netflix drops into the app store !

 

Yep, and if you pre-order, you are guaranteed to receive it on the 25th (unless UPS/FedEx fucks up).

 

you are garunteed no questions asked? like i will get it pretty much no matter what? and when you pre order them do they come ready to go? my dad is going to buy it but i am giving him the money for it. and he lives in arizona and i live in washington, so could he pre order it and have it shipped to my house? and i could be able to just plug it into my computer, set it up and it would work?

 

You'd need to put a sim card in it in order for it be a functional phone.

Well you need a plan with AT&T. Or jailbreak it and have a plan with another carrier.

 

i will be getting one when i get back from deployment in december

I doubt there will be any jailbreaking technology available for iPhone 4 until some time after it's release.

 

i know so if my dad bought a sim card and put it on his current iphone plan i could throw it in the iphone 4 when it comes and it would work

 

As long as the sim card is in the phone and it is being paid for by someone, then you should be good to go.

 

Can't wait to get this iPhone. Not sure if I want to pre-order or wait in line though. I waited in line for the previous 3. With an overnight adventure for the first one. I think that ended up being the hottest day of the summer.

Just for the record, keeping the unlimited plan for sure, tethering to my iPad is just way too important.

i better leave it up to my dad. im wondering if they will let me set it up for his account up here at the att store. like if he said he wanted me on his plan would they let me buy the iphone and get the sim card do you think?

 

Just take him to the store with you. But, if he adds you to his plan then a sim card will come with the new phone and he'll be paying extra for your iPhone.
