word. with that A4 chip it will be super fast and more capable for multitasking because if you have played with an ipad. those things are quicker than touches and iphones. and thats a much bigger screen, now that chip is in a smaller package. imagine how much better that will be than the 3g and 3gs

 

very true. The fact that iphone and ipad are exclusive to att and the fact that neither support flash keeps me away from an otherwise amazing family of products. The google/verizon tablet on the other hand should be greatness.

I will be getting my droid incredible on the 21st and i have heard nothing but holy shit this thing kills the iphone and these are people that had the iphone and was feed up with at&t!

 

i wanted a droid incredible soooo bad. but then i saw the iphone 4. iphone is better but droid incredible was going to be the closest thing to touching it. you are def not going to be disappointed with the droid incredible. that was what i was going to get on verizon but i think im going to switch carriers.

 

Dude dont do it iphone is just a name the drod can do everthing it can but faster with a better network and the app thing is going to be taken over by droid soon to they already have over 30,000 free apps and 30,000 more that are very low cost! An they say it will dobble in the next year! I was all iphone before my buddy j showed me droid and the way it runs! Dude just think about it you want the name with shitty service or the droid sexyness with the killer network that you love and the great costomer service! just saying!

 

i know... its such a nice combo. and it would be smarter choice. but i will buy an iphone knowing that. plus i know that i cant be swayed by people that dont have apple products. i know it sounds weird but apple doesnt need to use the best hardware to be the best. its the software that they specifically couple it with that will make me go apple everytime. im not a fanboy persay but i would rather pay more for the piece of mind that i know it will work. fast and reliable. my imac for example is 3 years old and has 2.0ghz processor with 4gb of RAM and its still faster than PCs with much better components. apples slogan should be "it just works, everytime"

 

iPhone has already tooken over the phone industry nothing can compete with apple there just simply the bestt.

 

you should read more htc had killed iphone sales for at least 1 year! Its cool me myslef rather save and get a comp that is faster for less money! Its like this you could buy a taco for around 30k and off road the shit out if it because you know it works or you could go buy a land rover for 80k and never that it off road because your paying for the name! I know of at least 5 comps for around 800 that are way faster the a mac book that has less for 1100! Just saying! take it or leave it! Sorry its late if i cant spell sorry!

 

The iphone 4 uses a smaller sim card then the current 3gs. You can't just swap sim cards anymore.

I've had my 3gs for a year now and really like it. This comparing battle over phones who cares. It's just personal preference. I really think that if the iphone was on other carriers the android phones wouldn't be so popular. I left verizon for at&t. I get great 3g coverage and no dropped calls on at&t, but that really depends on where you live. Verizon also had good coverage for me. Before I ended my contract I looked at their smartphones and at the time they all sucked.

I'm getting the new iphone 4. I've already had the new ios4 for the past month, and it really makes the phone better then it was. Apple comes out in top in design/looks though.

In the keynote video they say "we are using a brand new micro sim to free up space." and they show pictures of it. Its on apple's site you should watch it if you haven't yet. No don't work for apple. I just signed up to be a developer, and got access to all the beta's and software to make apps.

How do you have IOS4? It's not released yet.

 

The sim card will be included with the iphone.
However, the sim card is a "micro" sim card. The phone will need to be activated with the new sim card.
If ATT offers home activation that will be very convenient

Well I got the iPhone and my partner I work with has the other and my iPhone is faster in everything. Just wait it the new one comes out.

Plain and simple Iphone is better. I have personally seen it and my co worker agrees.

He just wishes the iPhone was on verison

The nokia 900 is a pretty slick phone.
Far more capable than the iphone in regards to multimedia play back, supports a slew of formats including flash. web interface is pretty nice too. It has a physical keyboard and a great screen, digital zoom camera with auto/maunal focus.
The incredible is another sick phone.
The droid platform offers a more open platform which will offer more for the user more so than the iphone.
the iphone has itunes and over priced movies and music with a somewhat easy interface.

 

Yea, I just signed up to get the new os. I have no clue how to program and make apps. After the keynote apple posted the final version to install which is the same that will be released to the public on the 21st. I had betas 3 and 4 on my phone, and now the final one. I had a few issues with a few apps crashing which was because the API's weren't supported yet, and the battery life sucked, but the final release has fixed all those. Some shots showing 4.0

True, but if you try install it without registering your UDID # with apple it will brick your phone.
