Ill stick to my S4. Ive had every single Iphone (Including the 5) and was always a fanboy. Bought a note 2 and never looked back. Upgraded to an s4. This thing has all the stuff the 5s is supposed to have and then some. Fits in my pocket just fine. Has 13 mp camera, quad core processor, 1080p video, and all kinds of other stuff. Iphone has lost the edge.

there has to be a way to set a passcode instead of a fingerprint.

I'll be getting it when the 6 comes out, that's when my upgrade is. (I currently have the 4s)

Once you go with one particular brand - apple or android, its hard to get out of it.

And what I mean is.... you get all your apps, syncing devices, accessories, etc - It's seamless just to continue to buy that same device.

We've been Iphone users since the iphone 4. My husband and I share a calender, we share contacts lists, App syncing to each other, our entire house (airplay) is synced with Remote App. The entertainment system (Denon, DirecTV, Playstation, etc) is synced to our phones. Our computers/itunes are connected (again, Airplay)....Our garage door openers are connected to our phones/app. Anything and everything is connected - just about. If its able to connect to our phone/app, it's been done.

We'll always be Apple fans...simply because of the simplicity of having all that shit setup. It's convenient...it's helpful, its easy, and it works.

I'm sure Android devices are the same way. Once you get everything setup - you never want to stray away from an android. And that's why people are so hard core to stay with one or the other. Not because of how much 'better' one is over the other....but because you've developed a rhythm with that brand.

I could care less about the camera, the processor, screen size, siri, fancy buttons, ..... I care about the connectivity of it all!!

Probably. On my Atrix, you could swipe your finger for the unlock or push the button to bring up the pin entry boxes. I imagine if it didn't register your finger, you could push the home button (maybe twice) and it would bring up the pin entry.

I had the iphone 3 went to the gakaxy note for the bigger screen I just am not that impressed with the note. Yeah the screen is bigger but I have had some minor but annoying issues with the android system. I feeel the apple system is a little more stable. As for the size I like the iphone better especially when encased in a protector like the otter box. The note was a royal pain when in the same case. I haven't tried the life proof cases yet. I am leaning on that case for the 5s when I get it.

I'm an Apple fanboy. I have an iPad, iPhone 5, Apple TV, and MacBook Pro Retina. I love how they all just work together. I'll be getting the 5s but only because either myself or my wife's line is eligible for an upgrade every year. Therefor, I'll always get the new one she will get my hand me down. She cold care less what she has so better for me. :D

If I wasn't eligible I wouldn't upgrade. The S releases are always have always been a bit lackluster (Siri on the 4S & the compass/voice commands on the 3GS). This 5s is a bit interesting though. The M7 chip should help with battery life and the new camera features will get more use from me than the other 'S' releases in the past.

life proof is probably 1/2 the thickness of an otter box. if even that much, maybe closer to 1/4 the thickness.

Thanks for the heads up. The otterbox is great just to dam bulky. When I get the phone I will look and most likely get the lifeproof case.

I have the iPhone 4 and was looking at getting the Galaxy Note 3, and the s4. Why don't you like yours?

    My iPhones slow as shit.

Apple didn't release anything cool on this iPhone. Will wait for iPhone 6 or more to a different brand. Apple is way behind the game.

I have the Note 2 and I love it. My wife has an iPhone 4 and will be getting the Note 3 soon for her birthday. She loves the big screen, especially for showing pictures.

I really didn't like the way to access my music with the android system. Honestly I may have been to used to iTunes but I was getting frustrated as hell. Some apps I had on my iphone didn't perform as we'll on my galaxy note. Granted it was on the older is system. A few friends of mine upgraded their android devices and had nothing but trouble so I didn't try on mine. With that said I am happy I went back to the iphone.
