So now go find your BFH (big fucking hammer), stack the phones on the router, lift the BFH and slam it down on the top phone while trying to make the phones and router one. If that doesn’t work, then the fix is at the store.

Well geez, I was just about to post the screen shot you asked for but no pic for you!

I’ll turn it off and leave it off. I’ll report back.

With the Privacy setting remaining off, the webpage stops loading - blue progress bar goes about a 1/2 inch then stops but the notice about not connecting to the server does come up.

I forgot to mention that sometimes I get a weak network security warning. It is set to WPA2 AES- the highest I can go. It’s not the setting shown in the pic.

Hmm, any and all webpages or a specific webpage? Guess that last part is either supposed to say and the notice or server doesn't come up.

The notice of not connecting to the server did not come up. The pages just hung there.

Tried a google, Wikipedia, TacomaWorld. Nothing, just frozen pages but no notice of not connecting to the server.

    Yes. Yes it does.

We’re heading out for a bit. Modem and router are gonna be shut down. Everything unplugged. I’ll start up, modem, then router then try to connect phones first ..

Create a guest network with no security key. See if your phone can connect. try one with 2.4Ghz then 5.0Ghz.

If your phones are still under warranty download the apple help app and have them scan your phone for issues.

Make sure everything set to automatic.

    Thank you for all that.

I am outside the warranty period.

If I recall right, everything is set to automatic. I’ll keep that in mind going forward.

I came back and turned things on like I said. Connected the phone first and it seems to be working and stable. :fingerscrossed:. Still have private network turned off and need to look into what that means. And why it would suddenly be an issue.

Should the gremlins return, I’ll post here.

Thanks to all for your help. :hattip:

From what I understand you should only have the private network setting turned on when you are connecting to public wifi/unknown wifi sources. If you are only connecting to trusted/personal wifi source you would leave this off so that your MAC address is static instead of spoofing different addresses for privacy concerns.
