I have a Scosche magnetic mount and love it, perfect placement just to the right of the steering wheel where I don’t have to take my eyes off the road to glance at while using gps. I have the thin magnetic plate attached to the back of my phone case and my phone has never come off. I have mine mounted as shown in this post:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-phone-mounts-in-canada.687086/#post-24843338

Best value purchase I’ve made. Far superior to the cup holder mount I paid more for with its poor stability and requires taking your eyes totally off the front of your view.

Does anyone make something like that Tacobar that is very small, just one ball and a phone clip ? I thought I saw that somewhere once but I can't find the link now.

I'm sending back my Stiffy-Mount as it doesn't really clip (it just hangs there) and I'm not trusting it to hold my very expensive phone. Want something actually hard mounted that doesn't cover my vent.

I think Taco Garage makes a smaller version of the DMM with fewer mounting locations. With the DMM, though, if you don’t put a ball in, you don’t even know it’s there, so you could use the bigger option and mount only 1 ball. That’s what I’m doing currently, although I’ll probably add an RV/trailering GPS in the future.

Edit to include link to DSM:

Thanks again all. Ordered the one from Offroam and should be here in a couple days. I’ll post my thoughts on it once it is installed.

If you buy the stuffy mount or something similar from Etsy just throw a thin piece of double sided tape under it. Keeps it in place no issues

Mount it where you want it. I didn't want to block any of the AC vent.

Recited and installed the Offroam. Very happy with it. Doesn’t move at all and I can adjust it to my liking. I have some pics but not sure how to post them.

ProclipUSA accessory mount. Clips to the dash at top and bottom. Very solid and easily relocatable (farther to the right) and removable.

I would recommend the full. It is always good to have additional mounting points. And if you only use one you never see the rest! I have mine with my phone, and my Auxbeam switch panel mounted. I'm considering mounting an Ipad mini up there or a mic mount for my radio.

I've had this one for 4+ years. Since upgrading to the '21 with CarPlay it's almost perfect.

Also did double duty when I had an RF trailer brake controller.

I really like it. It holds my phone very well and the company is located in Ohio an American company. They make a lot of products for Jeep and others. You can buy a single but I went ahead and bought the three mount. I hang my hat and covid mask one one of them. My wife said I need to get another phone holder so she can put her phone in it when she rides with me. I don’t understand but….

Fyi, there is a new product coming soon from @oostroma. This is the prototype. Production part will be powder coated flat black. Install in about 20 min. It has 5x mounting points for RAM type ball mounts.
