Iphone/Ipad help

My woman just got her an iphone. She already has ipad. I also have an iphone. Before i was sending imessages to her ipad and regular texts to her android. But now Im receiving her texts from her new iphone as i messages but its not allowing me to i message her. But i can still i message the ipad. Why cant i send her iphone i messages and if we can get that fixed can my messages go to both her iphone and ipad at the same time? I like my iphone but damn this proprietary bs is ridiculous.

 

1: You may need to reset the phones ie hold down the home and lock buttons for about 10 seconds.
2: Make sure I message is on for both phones new and old.

That should fix it, if you have already tried these things I would contact apple support they will usually tell you right away how to fix it. Make sure they have the most recent updates installed too.

Plus make sure both phones are connected to Wifi.

Sweet Didnt know thats how to reset them. Ill give that a try. Shit i reset mine and BAMMM it worked
