    LG g5 supports slimport which is basically hdmi out, so yes LG is still good.

    what about all the truck setting and shit that you can access in the stock HU? Do those go away? Is there anything in there I would miss?

    oh yea thats the thing i was worried about with my 2012 civic. the dash had another screen that connected to the deck, i was worried that the information in that HUD would not work anymore.

    So from my understanding you can use a bluetooth odb2 and use your phone with an app to modify truck settings that are in the stock HU

    Go wirelessly young man! Crux makes two models, one is wired and the other is wireless. The Audio/Video Integration for Toyota (AVITY-01) and the Wireless Audio/Video Integration for Toyota (WVITY-01). I'm just saying, I would not want any wires peaking through or under my dash if it's avoidable. Also, wireless would allow backseat passengers to control it. The Crux website says it's compatible for the 2016 Tacoma.

    Wireless - $269

    Wired - $179 + the HDMI adapter ($47)
