You only need Avc39 connector ($86) from them.

The rest would be Apples's Iphone Lightning to HDMI converter and a HDMI to RCA converter from Amazon.

I still think that an HDMI to Toyota A/V Input for 180 is a ripoff.. There can't be anything that expensive there, but it does let you connect anything with hdmi to it.. Maybe a camera for the front? xD

I ended up buying just the video cable for the heck of it (I was curious) (btw you can get it on Amazon or sonicelectronix also), I tested it real quick and it does work, A/V button appeared on the "Apps" Screen. For those without navigation you can disconnect one of the cable of the video input harness from beat sonic (leaving your truck's OEM harness untouched), and you would be able to use it while driving. Amazon sells RCA to HDMI adapters cheap and there is also a HDMI/USB plug replacement for a 12V outlet, meaning you could have a stock looking HDMI input in you truck.

I think there are some applications were this could come in handy, I already have an idea that I think some would like.

My Radio model is 510080 just in case.

Yeah that seems like the only good use for it. But I know from experience (I had a DVD screen/player installed in my 350Z) it is very distracting but good for your passenger I guess.

    No problem!

I was thinking this would be neat for those who offroad, imagine multiple cameras paired with a RCA video switch.

Just thought of another use. If you setup a front bumper camera with the wifi to the Smart Phone you could send it to your screen for offroading.

I just ordered the avity01 and have a quick question. During your installation did you have to cut and make any connections, or was it all plug and play? Thank you.

Awesome, thank you. I can't wait. I'll be using an Amazon fire stick to wirelessly screen mirror without needing Wi-Fi!
