    835 was competition for the A10 but yeah either way that's a significant jump. I'll be surprised if Qualcomm doesn't have the cards though. They wouldn't be the only one stashing them. Even so the reason the apple chips do so well is because the OS and chip are made jointly and highly specialized for one another. The snapdragons must be far more generic.

    We rolling up quickly on diminishing returns from CPU power though. Lot of other bottlenecks to deal with. Home PC's got there years back short of video editing and gaming. Workstations of course are different - can always use more power but phones aren't workstations.
