I'm going to buy that PA15 TOY adaptor on ebay and had some angst about the install. Cause sometimes the simplist stuff turns out complicated.

Well, in my research, I found this vid on You Tube........

I used that video to install my ipod adapter. Great video granted my head unit took alot more force to pull out than his did. And then my adapter didn't work cause of the stupid xm radio. But all together a great find.

X2. I bought the Metra Ipod Adapter. This video was helpful. Great post. No issues taking apart and putting it back together.

I watched the video and have a question- i un-hooked the black pieces (first in the video) and found that on the passenger side mine has a cord that clips in i think it said ABS. well the cord/plug wasn't very secure and wouldn't click all the way when i tried to put it back in. is that supposed to be loose ? didn't see that the video poster had one like that. thanks

I made the same discovery today when I was installing my PA15-TOY. I guess our trucks dont have the option and its there if we decided to install it ourselves??? I checked the black piece and didnt see any connector inside it. Mine is really loose as well... Dont know, if anyone has any clue let us know.
