We have a lot of Texas edition vehicle around here, but I’m not far from Texas. Two of my coworkers drive Tx Edition Silverados

With the Tundra, the TSS is an ok deal cause you get cool looking wheels, and Duratrac tires. With the Tacoma, it's a complete rip off.

I think Chevy is the king of the Texas Edition. They're the ones with the flashiest trucks.

I like the 2nd gen TSS wheels a lot. But I agree it is overpriced

I see them all the time, they're meh to me. All that comes to mind is the giant bottle of KY that was given to the owner with the truck by Southeast Toyota.

And I would put them far behind any Japanese truck. The only reason I would ever consider a domestic truck is if I needed something bigger than a Tundra, then it would either Ram or Ford Superduty

Ill take you to school a little bit :D

All the big truck diesel engines (cummins, duramax, powerstroke) have fuel injection systems that operate under very high pressure. They have to use engine oil as a hydraulic oil to open/close the injectors. The engine oil goes up into the cylinder heads (where the fuel injectors are) through these little oil passages and pipes. the problem with the 6.0 ford is the oil pipes would crack and leak oil pressure. Instead of the oil going to the injectors and doing work it would bleed back down into the oil pan. The repair involved taking a bunch of crap off the top of the engine and replacing what was leaking, very expensive..
A few weeks ago i posted a pic in your thread of a tan 2010 Sportmobile (E-350 powerstroke). That guy had the symptom which is a long crank time and a check engine light. He had to go to the dealer and get it fixed, cost around 10k

2005 Ram 1500, quad cab, 4x4, Hemi. It was a good truck, but I would be hesitant to buy a new Fiat Ram

Shoot, they're in the business of selling trucks! Lol

If they can slap a few badges on a truck and charge more for it thats like printing money

I know, not mad at Toyota, I'm mad at the mis-informed idiots who keep buying them.

That’s crazy. I always heard it was something to do with fuel injectors, but never knew what caused it
