    Mine are definitely gas.

I got an air compressor earlier this week and have a hose and impact wrench on order. I'll be installing once those come in.

So after having the lift for about a year with stock upper control arms I pulled the trigger on some Light Racing uca. I have always thought the truck drove good but my wife said it felt skiddish on the interstate. The alignment was in spec before the new control arms but the camber was on the low side. All I can say now is wow. The truck drives so much better with 2.5 degrees camber. I would also recommend sway bar drop brackets. Mine appears to have been slightly rubbing at some point.

Just installed my ironman leaf spring packs on my Tacoma. Install was easy for the most part, but I opted not to install new bushings on my rear shackle things that were being reused. I couldn't get the old bushings out, so oh well. Now I have a spare set of bushings sitting in my tool box.
They arrived a little scratched up from toytec, and boy were the packaged up HORRIBLY. they were literally just wrapped in cardboard and then wrapped with what appeared to be saran wrap. Not in a box, just wrapped in one layer of cardboard.
I hope they don't rust too quick because of all the thick scratches.. I may spray some plasti dip on them while they're on the truck.

No kidding... I guess these leaf packs are built tough then! Because you sure as hell know both of our packs got tossed around and treated like shit at the fedex sorting facilities!

Despite my previous statements, I actually prefer fedex over ups. FedEx has free Saturday deliveries and it's usually cheaper than ups. Speed wise, I think they're both about the same. But ups usually delivers to my neighborhood around 6-7pm and fedex delivers to my neighborhood before noon every day

Okay, so my leaf pack has been on for about a week and I'm pretty disappointed.
My ride quality went to absolute shit. Like it is terrible. I have fox coilovers on the front and I have icon rear shocks on the back, and I feel like I'm riding down the road in a damn tank. It sucks.
For the others on here that have the leaf packs, do y'all not agree? Do I have a set of lemons or something?

Takes a bit for them to settle. I don't have a problem with them now

Hopefully they'll settle soon. Cause they suck right now.

On Wednesday I'm having an all pro pack rack system installed along with a soft top. Maybe that will help

Any new leaf pack other than oem will feel stiff. My ome with an aal are stupid stiff then throw my bumper on there and all better. Now iron man leafs i found too soft, call me crazy?

There's no way man!!! These ironman leafs are so unbelievably stiff!! It feels like I have no rear suspension!
It I go over a speed bump, I barely feel it when my front tires hit it. But once the rear hits it, my head hits the roof. Wtf???

Lift is installed with the help of Tex. I can't express my gratitude to him enough. <-- no kiss ass, as I don't expect him to read this thread.

On first measurement, I got exactly 2.5" of lift. The ride is very smooth. Oddly enough, the ride was better before I had the alignment done. The shop told me that their printer went down, but that they were able to get it in spec. I call BS on that one. I have one of their packages so that I can get it aligned every day if I wanted to. So I figure I'll give it a week before going back to do it again. I'm hoping the springs settle a little, as the truck looks a little nose high to me.

This is a bad pic. I'll try to get some better ones with an actual camera when I get a chance.

And yes, I realize that I need new tires now.

Over 300 miles so far, and still happy!

I'm still sitting at 2.5" of lift in the front. I didn't take a rear measurement, so I'm not certain what I got from the AAL.

It still looks nose high to me, but I'm sitting at 23" in the front and 24" in the rear (hub to fender).

I haven't checked in for a while, but I'm still really digging this lift! Close to 10k miles on it, zero sagging since the first 500 or so. The rear AAL is sub par but hanging on better than expected. Since fall we have taken several trips to our little climbing oasis on OK....6 hours of highway and an hour off road to the cabin. Loaded with 4 adults (kinda), 4 dogs, gear etc and the road into the cabin is the one in my sig...so the suspension has been well tested. My only kvetch would be the powder coating on the springs but they seem wearing about the same as all the other crap under the truck.

You should get the Ironman rear leafs, Toytec has some on sale for under 300.00 for the pair.
