I don’t remember what mine looked like when I got them but I probably would have remember cosmetic damage. What pdf did you show them? Here is one I had from them originally but doubt it’s the one you showed them. I shared it here somewhere.
I’m expecting the new springs, the “A” spring today and will instal next weekend.

That’s the one. It’s very annoying you can’t find any documentation other than a hokey YouTube video on their site for installing this kit.

I'm exited to hear how the A springs work out for you!

I had watched that video when I did my instal. I also had the pages of the Tacoma manual to help supplement it.

I’ve been debating where to set my spring seat when I swap springs I think I’m gonna start with 8 &7/8 drivers and 8 3/4 on passengers. I know I can always lower if needed.

Its odd they say the pn of the strut but not what springs. Since the 3 springs are all different heights. Or, it’s just expected to be 3”, 2.5” and 2.5” for the A, B and C.
Or the note there to check and ensure the proper amount of down travel… like anyone is going to do that…

Finding the proper height certainly shouldn’t be so complicated.

New springs came in yesterday, going to try and get them swapped out next weekend. Also going to put my replacement skid plate (if I finish painting it) and move wheels forward again.

I took a look and it’s all adjustable suspensions that have this issue. They come preset and then it’s up to the end user to adjust it to where they want. I guess that’s the “advantage” of adjustable coil overs lol.

I really don’t think it would have touched during normal operation, I think it happened when the dealer dropped the tank to replace the fuel tank but can be certain. I’ll eventually swap it but the fox I have right now is probably good enough.

I decided to keep them green. I did look into getting paint for them but the green does look nice with the black truck.
Got my new skid ready too. Just waiting for it to finish curing (it may have been too cold when I painted it).

I haven't had any work done on my tank since installing the leaf packs. I ended up putting a spacer in as seen in the pic.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I responded in that other post. Looks like I was way off but glad you got it fixed. I did the same thing as well, I mean putting spacers under the head.

Yikes! That's quite the gouge. I checked mine the other day and it looked like my gas tank was much further away than y'alls. I wonder if it's cause I have a 2.7? Gonna go back and double/triple check that it's got plenty of breathing room though.

Damn this thread. Now I gotta check that too, lol. First I gotta measure the heights of the front struts and now I gotta look at my gas tank. What's next? You want me to look at the brakes every tire rotation? Geez...

    :p

    Long time lurker, first post.
I wanted to add to the conversation.
I had my FCP Stage 2 kit installed on a 2019 Tacoma and I've had several problems.
First, I have a severe drivers side lean especially in the rear, which still hasn't been fully corrected.

The installer said the rear DS leaf spring was defective. IM sent out a new one and it was installed. Along with the new leaf spring, the installer maxed out the lift on the DS spring coil. This helped in the front and made the rear less obvious, although there is still about an inch difference between the DS and PS. Still not sure what to do about this. The installer mentioned shims, but I still think there is something wrong. Any suggestions?

After going through the thread and seeing the gas tank rub above, I decided to check mine. I have the same problem. I call IM and they said this shouldn't happen.

I can install spacers as recommended above, but my question to the group is, were the rear leaf spring installed wrong? Should the bolt head be on the inside rather than on the outside?
In other words was the leaf spring installed backwards? I can't tell from searching if they have a front and back? I know there is a DS and PS (which was installed correctly).
Before I go back to the installer, I like to know if the leaf spring was installed incorrectly.

If you look at page 12 of the pdf and at 6:39 of the video, it looks like the bolt head should be facing the tank, and not the outside of the truck.
    https://4x4shop.dk/images/17 Toyota Hilux 2015+ Suspension Kit IM.pdf
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0RhrbOaZgY

    Any suggestions?

In terms of quality, I have been really impressed with the kit. I really can't tell much difference in everyday driving in the city/highway, but once I get off road the suspension is so much better.

    Thanks

There is a front and back. I considered flipping the bolt but it would rub the e brake cable.

Did Iron Man have any recommendations on what to do?
