I noticed today when I start off there is no vibration that I can tell. Still driveline angles maybe?

Same here. I ordered the constant load springs given all the weight I carry loaded with camping gear and tent. The back end is way up. Looked like a 5" inch lift even when loaded. I was worried I installed something wrong or backwards.

Still rides nicely so I kinda like it. Just need my front a bit higher to reduce rake.

Negative. Was supposed to be here 2 weeks ago. Got an update 2 weeks ago that the parts were in but needed to be assembled. Emailed this AM. Haven't heard anything.

Well that’s not good. Maybe you’ll hear something today. I’m planning on putting those together myself when the time comes. Hopefully I’ll do it right.
5” lift in the rear sounds like a lot, maybe the performance ones won’t be that high. Just a little longer before I can order a kit.

    I feel the same way.
I’m pretty sure I got about 2.5-3” in the rear and 1” up front. The shop says they have me at 3” up front and based on my sliders the truck had about a 1” rake. Which would mean I have a 4” lift in the rear.
Of course, I just assumed Figured the lift would go on and be fine. Now I will forever wonder. I guess as long as I can clear the tire I want(265/70/18) I’ll be happy with it.
    it looks good regardless.

Could always get a rough estimate looking at other stock numbers and use an average depending how much OCD you may or may not have. I’ll do my best to remember to measure... when the time comes lol. Just tough to justify the purchase right now with me only driving around town once or twice a week and her in the garage the rest of the time..

Yeah-I have thought about it. I might measure a couple guys I know who are sitting stock still. I cared a lot at first, but then decided what I really wanted was to fit the tires. Currently I like the look and the CV angels are almost flat, so if it works out, I would be happy.
Just wish there was a consistent method for all things lift related. Lol

Yea, too bad nothing is the same. I want to fit 285/70/17s to start and an outrageous goal of 315s in there later. I can get the cmc and pinch weld beat down done so that’s no issue. Just gotta play the waiting game.

    Agree!
My tires are currently 5 years old, with off roading I don’t want to run them much longer even though tree life is still great. So next spring I plan on buying new tires.
5 more years down the road, I might go bigger too:)
The more time goes by, the less opposed to a CMC I have become.

As of a couple days ago, I have completed my installation of the Stage 2 kit (Performance Load up front, Constant Load in the rear).

Initial feedback: the ride is surprisingly plush and compliant, especially given the fact that there is virtually no droop travel remaining at the current ride height. Despite having almost 400 pounds of gear in the back, the rear is lifted about 5 inches over stock and the shocks are fully extended at rest. I plan to remove a leaf or two and see if that helps.

In the front, same story. The piston rod is nearly fully extended with the weight of the truck on it...hardly any droop available. I tried adjusting the spring perch collar downward to lower the front, but even with a proper pin spanner and the set screws loose, the collar won't budge. Time to rent a spring compressor so I can turn the collar.

that’s interesting to hear. I may have missed in an earlier post but how much lift did you get up front? I want the performance/performance. I doubt I’d ever need the constant.
Have you considered taking tension off the spring while it’s installed? There are some videos about doing that, it involves disconnecting the lower control arm at wheel and listening the frame side. Good luck!

The front is probably 3.5 inches lifted, as set by Ironman when they shipped it to me. I plan to lower that. When the front suspension is unloaded (i.e. truck supported by jack stands), there's no tension on the spring other than what's inherently there from the spring being captively compressed between the top mount and the lower spring perch. No way to reduce that tension temporarily except by compressing the spring with a compressor. I don't see how disconnecting the lower control arm would have any effect.

wow, that does seem like a lot of lift up front and explains the little droop. I’ll be going for 2-2.5 max up front. Probably lower end at first since I won’t have an aftermarket UCA at the same time.
I did forget one big part of what I said, you’d need to remove the top hat shaft nut.

I’m not saying it’s the best way to do it but it is a way, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/installing-5100s-without-a-spring-compressor-video.190159/

Have you posted any pics of your truck with the lift on? If not mind sharing one or a few? I looked back a few pages and didn’t notice any.

Oh there will be some mods all right
This is a strange feeling. I've never had to work so hard to get a product from a company in my life. (First world problem) The suspension said it was in stock when I ordered and that was on June 30th. I waited patiently for a while with no update and finally bothered them. I got a shipping update email July 14th and when I clicked on it to view tracking it said shipment information was voided. Asked them for an update/explanation on the 17th in a online chat, said he would look into it. No other response from him after waiting a long time then it said I was transferred to somebody else waited longer and the conversation was terminated. Asked again for an update today The guy asked for my order number and then didn't reply after that. Maybe I'll end up with my suspension before winter :boom:

Well that's ironic. I message them again today and make this post and the kit showed up today minus the leaf springs. Tracking still says voided so no idea what's up with that.

They seem to have gotten super popular For Tacoma’s in America over night. Wondering if they are playing a bit of catch up now. Good luck with everything!

While debating which kit I wanted, this, Eibach and Billies, I’ve noticed a lot of companies are having trouble keeping stock and being late ordering.
This kit checks a lot of boxes for me and I would think a lot of others. Ordering in about 2 or so weeks. Hopefully it’ll be a good time to order. Hopefully you all get your kits and missing parts soon.
Anyone getting JBA UCA and gonna paint them? I think I’m gonna go that route. I’ve got a can of plasti-dip green that might go well with the springs.

Thank you! I'm excited to get it installed. I not really mad or anything it just is unlike any experiences I've had online shopping before. Waiting and pestering with no tracking/updates/explanations. The chat with someone feature seems to be somewhat unhelpful with one response and then radio silence.
