Yea, that does. It does not sound like great customer service but I get the feeling it’s a smaller shop. I think the person that does the instal videos is the same one that responded to my email.

Duplicolor engine paint Grabber Green is a perfect match for Ironman green, based on my experience. The paint is a little hard to lay down without bubbles: you have to apply really thin coats and not get too close. But the color is perfect.

Here’s the lift as it stands now. I just exchanged an email with Chris at Ironman, who says you can turn the Constant load pack into a Performance pack by removing the third leaf from the top.

Debating whether I want to do that myself. After the initial install, I am about fed up with working on my truck with no shade in the dirt. I would kill for a garage.

thanks for the tip, I’ll have to keep that in mind and order it when that time comes too. Your truck is looking good. I’m sure, working in the dirt sucks. Taking leafs apart sucks too... that’s another reason I’m going with this kit, remove and replace the entire pack. I’ll build the shocks on the truck or take them to someone that has a compressor, so that won’t be too bad.

Looks like the same amount of lift I got with constant load springs and leafpack. They told me the fronts when preassembled are set to 2.5".

My rear end is way up like yours. I have a Diamondback bed cover, Voodoo bed rack, Ikamper RTT, ~10 gal H2O, camping gear, cooking gear, fire wood, propane, awning, sliders, recovery gear. I figured I had 600-700 lbs of weight, yet barely get any rear end squat when fully loaded. Fine by me. I paid for clearance.

Rides nice. Some leaf spring squeaking lately.

Still waiting to hear back about the replacement coilovers. I asked to have the replacements bumped up to 3" because my rake is a bit much and my headlights point down.

Hate to remove a leaf from the rear packs. Those things are a beast to get in place working alone on the ground and no garage lift. I like doing my own work but... F' that. Next time I pay somebody to wrangle those beasts.

What is your front lift set to? I have been debating this kit but really want just 2" of lift in rear and 2.5" in front.

Are you having some crazy driveline vibes with the rear that high? Thanks!

The stage 2 comes with spacers that helps avoid driveline vibration. I ended up taking a leaf off (3rd leaf from the top) since it didn't need it to be that high so ended up with their Performance leaf in the rear. Unless you have a lot a lot of load, I'd recommend Performance. I have a Leer Camper shell, Prinsu rack, sliders and an additional 100 lbs in the bed (mostly a bunch of junk)

Taking the leaf pack apart wasn't as bad i thought it would be. Just make sure you have pair of sick a$$ C clamps and you're good.

Here's a reference for how many leaves you get for constant load. Performance is one less. I suggest you count the number of leaves and compare it to other brands and see their load rating and recommendation. Going from Constant to Performance it came down about 3/4". From the center of wheel to wheel well I currently measure about 25.5"

If you want 2.5" then maybe take another leaf off ? see my post above. See my post above regarding driveline

Oh there will be some mods all right
Little update, the leaf springs showed up as well as the traction boards. I know I'm in a Nissan Frontier but I'll still post some measurements and pics after I get it installed.

Update: used a pin spanner to lower the front spring collars about half an inch, made a HUGE improvement in ride quality -- much more compliant and smooth. This is with the Performance Load front coils. Not sure it affected the ride height at all...

I used a Gedore 80-90mm wrench, probably the highest quality pin spanner you can find. Made of steel, not aluminum. Perfect engagement with the holes in the collar.

Tomorrow I'm having a shop remove the third leaf from the top of the Constant Load pack, then I'm taking it in for an alignment. Then I'll deal with any remaining driveline vibe issues. I measured the relative driveline angles before beginning the install (weeks ago!) so I can try to get to a similar parameter afterward.

What is your front currently measuring in height from the center of the wheel?

Thanks for all the information. Still planning on ordering mine (performance) in about a week or two. I’ll get that wrench too, just in case.

Had the third from top leaf removed today. It's a night and day difference in ride quality: it went from unbearably stiff and skittering around on hard turns, to supple and incredibly grippy. The rear end feels more planted than it ever did, even when stock. Both the front and the rear ride is amazing. Went over some train tracks and the suspension just soaked it up.

I'll get some measurements tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a pic of the final configuration.
