Well I’m a little pissed, my tires hit my body cab mount now, if they would have followed the specs I gave them from IM it would have been forward more. I guess I’m taking it back Monday or whenever to say look at these specs on this paper and specifically where it says it needs positive camber or caster on it smh

I would be too. Is it during any turns or full lock? Ask to talk to the tech next time and give him a copy of the sheet. They should fix it so it’s right. I was curious why the number was not higher since that UCA is set at 3 or 4° already.

At fulllock stuffed it scrapes it, I’m going to the beach tomorrow so I won’t be doing anything crazy out there but yeah I specifically gave them the sheet and they basically ignored it and put it in factory. I want it farther forward because I have a bumper coming any day and don’t care if it scrapes up there. I may take it to the Firestone in Apex the other chat said they’re good down there.

Super helpful thread! I think I am close to pulling the trigger on the Stage 2 FCP kit. I am early into my build, and was wondering if it would be smart(er) to order the Constant/Additional payload leaf springs, remove a leaf now and as my build progresses add the leaf when I increase constant weight? As of now, no constant weight, but truck gets loaded for camping & road trips.
Appreciate any similar thoughts or insights.

    Cheers!

I'd say if you're planning on adding weight at some point, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. They are the same price so might not be a bad choice. I've been happy with mine so far. I don't have many miles on it yet, just enough to do the torque check. Its a much nicer ride. I've still got stock wheels/tires on it as well. Good luck if you go this route and ask more questions if you need.

Thanks Eric! Appreciate the insight, and glad you were able to follow my thought process. At the same price point, I think I agree it may make sense to have it and not need it vs vise versa. Storing 2 leafs seems like a small price to pay for the flexibility this may offer down the road.
Appreciate the quick response and feedback!

Agreed, and I have my two leafs stored and the process of taking them off was simple. I saw a previous post where someone left it on and it was all jacked up in the back and I had already ordered mine. I was like oh hell thats gonna look weird. Then a day later he posted how to remove it and I was happy. I should have left it on because my weight will add up quick soon but I swear it still sits up about a 1/4 inch higher in the back now but it still needs to settle a bit. I’m actually intrigued to see where comfort isn’t comfortable anymore so it should be a good test on this set up.

Took the babies and the lady out to the beach this weekend and put it through the paces. Handled really well I’m very happy with the setup and glad I went with Ironman!

Still not sure honestly. The air was fresh and barely any smell of smoke. The wind was from the west, so I lean towards fog. But it’s impossible for me to determine.
This picture was a few hours early, when we arrived.

Looks like fun all around. The closet beach I can drive on is about 3 hrs away. The mountains are also about 2-3 hours away...
One day I’ll be able to test out my truck off road...

We’re kind of in the middle. An hour and 45 to the beach and an hour to the mountain. But the smoke is so bad here from wildfires that the drive was more than worth it.
Hope you can get to the beach or mountains soon!

Definitely smoke. The smoke was blown out to the ocean and then back in.

Even if you cant smell the smoke, the particles are definitely in suspension in the air. This is how the coast looked here in WA the day before the smoked arrived last week. We had one last nice day at the beach before it started to look like Mars here.
