Well tires and wheels are installed. Loving the look. Still need to lower the fronts a smidge and get an alignment. No rubbing at all as it sits right now :santa2:
    Cliff Notes Version-

    • Constant Leaf Pack with 3rd and 5th leaf removed.

Damn that looks good. Did you have the CMC done?
I’d rather have 285/75/16s than 255/85s but don’t have aftermarket UCAs or a CMC. I also have the BR6 -12 offset wheels.

Thanks @Devir7 ! No CMC chop. Hoping I can avoid it, but time will tell. I was torn, wanted UCA's but hadn't seen much on the Ironman UCA, but since they came with the kit and as mentioned a kajillion times in this thread, for the price point, I couldn't resist giving them a try.
We'll be doing a Kings installation on my buddies 2020 later this weekend, he's gonna be running -12 KMCs and 33/12.5/17 Toyo MT's and I believe Icon UCA's. Really curious to see how the -12 offset with full 33/12.5's comes out.

Lol, yea I made some bad choices choosing my kit. Should have went ahead and got constant load leafs and the UCAs. I’ll just save up for UCAs after my tires.

    what offset are your wheels?

0 Offset. I ran FN wheels on my 4runner a few years back and became a huge fan. Was really happy to find this set used locally.

Thanks. The -12 might kill my chances of avoiding the cab mount. Though with SPCs and a good tech maybe they could figure it out... maybe I’ll just stick with the 255/85s. The mastercrafts are 33.2 and the ST Maxx are 32.8... both close enough.

Looks great - glad you figured out the constants!

Curious, are your Performance packs sagging already?

No, only saying that so I could have had the extra leafs in case I ever needed them. I’ve not had any issues with my kit.

Edit- I had not even thought about that when I ordered my kit.

I went with Warrior Products Steel Shims (pair) 2.5" x 2 degree, from LowRangeOffroad. Their site suggests 2.25"-wide shims for Toyota but the 2.5" shims are the exact width of the Ironman springs so I would definitely not go with 2.25". The center pins included from Ironman were just a little bit short, but good luck finding a replacement. I ended up enlarging the hole in the shims so that the shims aren't clamped by the center pin, but are "centered" by the pin. Then the U-bolts clamp the spring and shim assembly to the axle.

Whats up guys. Alignment went well. I’ll post my specs tomorrow perhaps, but we got everything in the green. Haven’t gotten around to the diff drop yet either, but I found a really informative, short video that walks through a lot of the major points of a suspension swap. Certainly makes me glad I went with the options I did and will probably go underneath and have someone bounce it to check things out.

Merry Christmas Dudes! I just found that Ironman sells 1-4 degree shims, I’m gonna see if they can provide any insight on pins or if they could provide me with the longer pins they sell with their overload aal kit! Thanks for all the info!

please send lots of pictures and let us know how that goes. Installing my kit in March and I’m really worried it’s gonna be too high of a lift for my taste. I wanted 2” of lift with 2.5” probably being max so I’m little worried but hoping I can adjust it to be a little lower.

    Also merry Christmas!

Had another good day. Got Kings coils installed on my buddies truck. So much easier the 2nd time around! Also had a chance to pull the front of mine down a bit. Not sure if it was enough, but again, I feel like these coilovers defy all basic math and consistency. Pulled the fronts down about 3/8" which, I recall seeing adjustments are a 1 to 2 ratio. Shouldn't that have dropped me 3/4"? Measurements are harder now with the larger tires on and getting some poke out of them, but I'm still not sure I see the 3/4" drop. I will say, the outer(?) CVs look better! Not much impact on the inners

Will probably run it like this and try to get an alignment either tomorrow or Monday and see how she goes. Thanks again to everyone for the activity in this thread, super helpful and I hope every had a Merry Christmas and cheers to a safe new year!

I would still opt for a diff drop or a cv boot slide mod myself. Also don’t forget to realign it after you lower it. My alignment wasn’t terrible but it still needed realignment after lowering 5/8. Other guys have mentioned the lifetime Firestone alignment. I personally haven’t gone that route but it would’ve paid for itself by now.

Thanks @rhmedjr . I haven't gotten it aligned at all yet, wanted to get it set and aligned once. I'm hoping 4WP in Colorado Springs can squeeze me in today. Fingers crossed. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about Diff Drops on 3rd gens. I may ask those guys to take a look at the angles and get their input. Being in a place I don't have many local shop resources I figure I'll try to get the first one from a place that knows and understands lifts and such. Then once I get the specs I may explore Firestone or something and see if they can mirror it.
