Welcome back and that’s good to hear. I got rid of most of mine after plenty of time playing with shims.

Ok, dum question to ask after I have already ordered my Stage 2 kit, but can I set this to only lift about 1.5”?

Im pretty sure you can set it between 0 & 3” but your best bet is to do the live chat with them and ask for the measurement recommendation to reach that height.

Yeah, you should be able to.
I backed off the coil seats until they measured 8 1/2 and 8 3/8 and got about 2in lift in the front. IIRC that was about 3/4" lower than it was spec'd from IM, and results in 2:1 effect on lift due to where the lower control arm mount is. So you could go another 1/4in lower on the seats than I did, and it should get you to about a 1.5in net lift.

Has anyone had any luck receiving their lift kits recently? I ordered mine in mid march with an expected delivery date around the end of march. Even though they were supposedly in stock and waiting to be packaged and shipped, a day later they told me it'll be shipping the week of 4/19. Now I'm checking their website and they aren't even taking pre-orders anymore because it's backed up until 7/04. Now I'm hoping they don't give me another update saying it's going to be a few months...

I ordered mine around Feb and I was recently told that it would be in mid April, I hope that is true since I am traveling to visit a friend and install. Shipping notice said it should be delivered tomorrow.

If you have a shipping notice I'm sure you're fine. I'll be taking off down to CA in a few weeks, so I can make a detour to wilsonville to pick mine up if I have to. I asked and they said they do will call pickups Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I may end up doing that.

For anyone interested, it looks like they're having another 25% off sale on lift kits, catch is they're expected back in stock in July...

Just a heads up that's only for in stock items. I can't even order them for you guys as a distributor at that price now. They said they'll cancel those orders and charge me a fee. :)

I can place orders with a smaller discount though.

I bought the stage 1 nitro gas and I also bought the UCA separately today for my TRD Off-Road all performance load springs. I want to put 285/75/16 KO2's on my stock wheels now. Anyone know if they'll rub or should I get spacers? Don't really want to replace the wheels because I can't find any after market wheels I like. Thanks in advance

Hey everyone. I'm not a Toyota driver (unfortunately) but this is one of the most active discussions on Ironman kits out there. I am debating between a Bilstein 5100 lift and the Ironman lift for my Xterra. Seems a lot of people kind of shit on, or were very skeptical of Ironman 5ish years ago, but now most people seem to be pretty happy and they are picking up in popularity.

So, I guess I'm wondering what everyone thinks of these in relation to the Bilstein 5100 for those that have experience with both. Which do you think is best?

Im sorry I can’t help with that, I’ve not rode in a truck with the 5100s. What I can do is tag @Larry Dangerfield with how he fared with the kit on a Nissan. Though that might not help you out either. Good luck!

I installed my Ironman foam cell kit yesterday, got the 440lbs constant load rear springs, standard front for 110lbs, big change. I was loaded with the suspension, a bed rack, RTT, Vickory bumper and Warn Zeon 10s and my old springs where sagging, about 1/2' lower than the front. I left the front coilovers set how they where shipped, ended up with 3' in front and 5' in back. I do not have the back end loaded up yet, building some draws and will be carrying fuel. The ride is still good, a little more lift than I wanted, might need to get the reg rear springs or have a leaf removed.
