I'm probably throwing on some 35's in the next few weeks as well.. From what I've heard, the front of the wheel well will need to be pushed back and/or trimmed along with a good cmc and pinch weld. You'll also notice your suspension settle quite a bit in the front over the next few weeks so the spanner wrench will be useful if you want to get that extra clearance back. Mine settled about an inch and now my 33's rub slightly in the front of the wheel well when tucked (also should mention I don't run a sway bar).

I just threw in the lift with no adjustments so I don't know if it's maxed out or not.
But with the clearance I'm noticing. 35s may be nice to have! But then again, I want mpg so I probably won't haha

Same I installed the lift as it was sent to me by Ironman preassembled. My front coils still settled from 3" to around 2".

I had mine set at 3” and even after they settled the ride was too harsh and the cv angles made the fins touch.
I did buy the special hose clamps for the cv boots but decided to lower the lift instead.

I got around to recording what my Timbren rear active off road bumpstops look like in action. I think I need to put a 1'' spacer in there so in makes contact sooner... Also, the plate looks like it is but it does not hit the strut. Seen the axle wrap is pretty neat too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yja409Lhk7E

Nice, that was cool to watch!
I need to get some aftermarket bump stops on my truck, I’m pretty sure my factory one are way too short.

They definitely are lol. Those Timbrens are probably twice as high as the stock ones. I’m thinking of adding the 1” spacer to move it a little closer. To the frame, it should not make the bumps harsher.
I ordered Sumosprings for the front since they’ll contact first. The Timbrens look about the same height in the front and with the current springs, they were not hitting. I’ll update the front video with the sumos once I get them. They have 15% off right now too!

I looked at the sumospring ones, and durobumps, both seem equally well liked.

Looking forward to the video update!

I’ll definitely upload a new video. I should have them this week and maybe a new video this weekend. I was also looking at 1” spacers for the Timbren bump stops to have them impact on smaller bumps. Only a few places sell them and shipping is half the price of the spacers though…

I might end up getting the IM 720# springs just cuse there is nothing I’d need to figure out to make sure they play nice together.

I looked into spacers as well, had a hard time finding many options. Expensive plate of metal too.

That's a good idea, not a big jump as far as the inch/lbs go. The certain compatibility is nice too.

Yeah, but still 100# difference, maybe it will help more. I could also think about powder coating a different color… though the green looks good with the black truck. A nice splash of color.

Yeah I got the truck back from getting everything put on and it rides amazingly well now. I’ve only driven it a bit but there’s a riverfront park between the shop and my home with very bumpy river rock you can drive on(which is exactly the type of terrain where the oversprung suspension was miserable) and it felt like nothing. I am very pleased.

I think the spring rate will help. Your setup isn’t as stiff as mine so I bet even a small change like that will make a difference for you.

I like a darker green myself, I don’t mind the Ironman colour too much though. Purple would be pretty cool.

That’s awesome! Let’s see how it looks!

Maybe I actually should strap a couple hundred pounds of sand on my hood and see how it rides.
